just got busted by parents

I was caught once when i was 14 i think. I got grounded or something for 2 weeks and i had big lecture about it. my dad actually was a huge hippy in the 60s and fucked with all sorts of shit. he said weed is a gateway drug and i shouldnt of done it. im now in college and out of the house and what he doesnt know wont hurt him lol. but i understand how its a bad situation but all this shit about trying to get ur parents to conform to what you think ( which also happens to be right) isnt going to happen. i think as long as u live under there roof u should abide by their rules no matter how stupid they seem now. just smoke outside and hide ur weed really well. And that whole spanking thing lol why dont u just man up to ur dad thats wat i did...sure i got my ass kicked but he didnt spank me ne more.

well i think there is nothing wrong with smoking pot.. i mean why did god create it and put it on the earth if it wasnt to be smoked?? stupid pot illegalizing g0-vernment

if you have all those good things going for you, then start pointing them out next time your parents give you shit about smoking weed.
it obviously has not affected you badly, you make good decisions on y our own, so they should trust that this is an acceptable risk you assume on your own that does not affect them or your life in any negative way.
They are probably more worried about what would happen if you get busted, that shit can fuck your life up. Instead of being mad at you, they might try joining norml or something...legalize is the answer.
Tell them you are thinking of moving to far off Canada where it is legal, see if they like you living in another country to live your chosen lifestyle.

They do not know i smoke, but they found a bowl once, and i said it was a friends and that i had only smoked once. also, last drug test i took came out neg for everything. But, you do have a good idea there. Thank you.
