I agree its got to be the Beatles. There are a lot of bands I like more but the question wasn't "who is your favorite?" Just the fact that the "Beatles One" cd went to the top of the charts when it was released, more than 30 years after any of the songs on it were originally recorded, says a lot about them. The thing about the Beatles is that were just soo good together, definitely a case of the total being so much more than the sum of the parts.
