haha........pick your brain, i like that scobbie.
Hey S,
I was wondering if you get real tight, dense buds with the 400w HPS. Im thinkin of either switchin bulbs right now back to 400w HPS or going all the way through this grow with the Son Agro and startin my other with the 400w HPS. The owner of my local Hydro store said that i would have better results with the normal 400w HPS bulb than with the Son Agro because the ballasts dont match up. Im not sure if hes talkin out his ass, so ide like to find someone who does this and see what they have to say. Until then ill just watch and see how it turns out.
Your grow is looking KILLER!

do u have a estimate with the cfl grow on how much bud ur gonna have an how many total watts are u pushin
if so how many times and at which nodes??? also do you tie your plants down or do you just let the colas grow through the screen i cant really tell if you combine lst and scrog???
Seed......Where are you?
hey guys, i just started a big job so i've been really busy!
ss420, i get pretty tight dense buds from the 400, especially with scrog because they are all close to the light. i just flushed the ww's and the gk tonight.
bkskillz, if you use the grow big, big bloom, and tiger blooom correctly you should not have to worry about defficiencies. they have a feediing schedule you can follow that comes with it when you but the 3 pack.
tinybud, my cfl grow is 358watts and the yeild is about a qp or 5 oz .
hazzy view, i top almost all the growth tips at one time or another. since i vegg for 6-8 weeks topping slows the growth a bit and promotes better branching. the point of scrog is to tie the branches to the screen as they grow so all the bud sites or on the same level and evenly spaced. yeild will suffer greatly if you just let the plants grow up through the screen.
Hey S,
How close do you have the light to the bud tops? Do you use a cool tube?
Im not sure about cloning my lady now because she is too far into flowering, so do you think i could pull the SCrog with plants from seed?
Thanks, and keep me posted

BTW congrats on the new job, what are you doing?
hey seed man looking good so far. I cant wait to see all your buds at harvest!
i have the light about 10 inches from the tips. my hood is not aircooled but i am in the process of making a diy cooltube for the light.
you can scrog with seed plants no prob. just make sure it's female before you put it under the screen. the only reason they say not to scrog from seed is so you don't get stuck with a male under the screen. sex them 1st and you are all set. my current gypsy's kiss scrog is a seed plant. i do have 7 more clones of that plant ready to go into the flower chambers when the current crops finish. just make sure you take lots of clones when you find out the sex of the plants!
