I think I associate steroid abuse with symptoms more like chemotherapy -- loss of hair, large loss of weight, loss of muscle. Remeber the NFL linebacker Lyle Alzedo.
Maybe I'm wrong ... I'm certainly no doctor. I think the press would jump on it if it were true, and it may yet turn out that way. They'd use him as the new poster boy for steroid abuse.
Nothing anyone does nowadays is unbelievable. Heck, Edgar J. Hoover -- onetime head of the FBI -- was gay.
