That would be great, but the problem with places like Overgrow is that there are too many rules there. You can't even imply are under 18 and they allow questions about alcohol but not other drugs. When you try to post about other drugs everyone turns into a whiny bitch.Quote:
Realizing humor is a good thing some threads are cool but theres a lotta crap threads here. Im thinking of finding a more adult cannabis site.
My point was, this is a message board for drug users. There are always going to be people, who are probably on drugs, that are going to post nonsensical shit that is intended to be and even found to be humourous. There are trolls on every message board, trolls dont give a fuck if you close their threads or ban them. It does not phase them and they'll simply make another account and another thread.
I also cite from the forum main page, the Cannabis.com Lounge description as "Friendly talk about nothing in particular."
The thread in question did not start a flame war of any sort, some people appearently found it to be funny (enough to get all the replies in this thread) and for the others it can simply be said that if you don't like a thread, don't post in it.
Nobody is here to fucking please you zig zag if you dont like the boards dont let the door hit your ass on the way out.
With that said I dont think anyone gives a fuck about your superior intelect ego attitude. I think you're an ok guy. probably a pretty good guy but fucking chill ok.
No superior intellect ego here.Quote:

One thing we don't need on this site, is banning interesting characters. Already wooman, who gave me lots of amusement, has been banned, and skykobabble, who was so fun to poke fun at. Now you have removed another scource of entertainment, another thing for us to make fun of or laugh at. Just let the fool back, who cares if he impersonated Bill Cosby? It's not like he even posts that much.....
On a side note, if I started an account impersonating Stuart from MAD TV, would I get banned?
Just wanted to shake you up is all. Have a good day. be yourself :)Quote:

It's pretty simple. The younger generation has never been taught the word "respect" to and for their elders. They are of the "Me" Generation and could care less about the opinions or thoughts of anyone who will take away from their identity or beliefs. (if you don't think so then watch when someone tells me "Fuck you" for this post, I rest my case)This is why ind. breeders like me who want to post here and help others in growing and giving away free quality genetics will never do so because those few members here will not respect the Mods decisions or actions and that makes the board look like there is a lack of leadership when all in all the Mods are simply doing their job, and a good one at that.
The younger generation does not care about authority. I didn't when I was 19 but there was not a internet in 1979 and I did not have the ability to tell the world to FO with a few clicks from a keyboard. I understand untamed youth, we were all young at one time or another but that should not give anyone the right to tell anyone else to FO or question any decisions made here.
If the Mods here were politicians would you call them every day to ask them about legalizing cannabis and giving them grief because it wasn't? If they were car manufactures would you call them everyday and tell them how to build their cars and that you did not like this or that on a car they made? Do you go into the kitchen of a diner and tell the chef how to prepare your meal that you orderd from his menu? Do you question your boss' authority at work? Do you do it out loud where everyone can hear you and in front of their face? So why do you question the authority here when a decision is made by a Mod or Admin? Is it because you don't have to face them face to face? We should weigh with thier decisions no matter what our personal beliefs are. It is called "respect" for those who are running the show and knowing that they will make the best judgement call for all members and not just the few who want their own way.
I apologize to the majority who are great members here, this rant is for the ones who like to raise a few eyebrows here just for the sake of conversation and stirring up the pot. Out of no disrespect to any member here, Do you ever think about the individuals personal emotions that you are toying with? Some people here have medical conditions and a simple discussion can elevate their blood pressure, cause anxiety, panic attacks, elevate stress levels and much more. Why would anyone want to do that to anyone else? For the sake of a joke or being funny? It may be funny to you but the general concept of a joke is that "everyone" laughs. We are a counterculture that should all mold into one belief. Telling a complete stranger to FO is not how we should be representing each other. We have plenty of work to do outside the forums but it will never happen as long as we bicker among ourselves. If we could only agree to disagree and leave it at that but someone always has to have the last word.
Please respect the Mods decisions and actions here. It is for the overall good of the community that they work for. They are not out there for the glory of being seen as a Mod. They are not on power trips. Their job is hard enough as it is. If you dont think so then try setting up your own Vbulletin forum and getting members to join and stay within your policies and guidelines. It is an impossible task and any Mod knows that accepting this responsibility is a demanding one indeed. They will never be able to please 100% of the members and they are not expected to. Let's help them by not questioning their judgement calls.
Thewooman will be back in 18 days, syko will return next year, and the user behind Bill Cosby is not banned - he still has his McCauley Caulkin name AND his regular username. It's only that one name, so get over it. We like to have as few rules around here as possible, BUT there has to be a line somewhere. Not everyone is going to like where that line is, but such is life.
well said, Annac.
