It is awesome & I don't even have words to describe. Being up high in that big ole windshield, you see it all! It could be compared to an out of body experience. We were routed all over the place, & on the way back, I found out how Boulder Co got her name. (At least I think that's where we were. Big round boulders stacked on top of each other in piles, bigger than a barn, MUCH bigger!) Yeah. The only thing I liked about that man was his truck. Oh, speaking of redwoods. Ed went out of his way to take me to a state park where we actually DROVE THROUGH a redwood that had an archway carved into it. Don't think it was meant for rigs, I heard something scraping as we went through, pushed both rear views in. But after that, I realized how bland the east coast is, & how narrow minded this area is. Everybody on the weat coast was so hip. :) :) :)

BTW, love the loaded pick-up shot. Knew there had to be a reason I loved riding in the back of those things! LOL!

Will say I found all kinds in the area, and on the job. Only a couple had as little on site exp as I. But age and owner gave me respect and was voted most improved(over predecessor). It was fun and the girls where something. But we are very tight knit.
Told locals to find me a place, Quess legal money buys extra there. Think if I can find one, put out an all call, and get some good help. Think it would be easy.

Ok Ranger... its time you post. Otherwise I'll be worring about what happened to you. So post & say hi so you you don't end up on the MIA list with Esteban. :( You have more pics to post from your trip to the greenhouses, right? :) :) :) :) :)

Been trying to keep up with all the new and interesting around here.
Farm is shut down now, except all the flowers the greenhouse. Three months and it starts again. But in every ying, there is some yang. A great summer, then I came home. Not going to point fingers, but piling stress into a society is not the way to go. Anyway couple of weeks ago, my new son-in-law brought me home a new dabbing rig. And several of my rangers were there to show off, some new strains, some new cars, and some new guns.
The fun was underway, when the yang part started. Most of you know that the ranger loves the ladies, the reason I claim my heart is so badly broken. But the ultra high tech thing(pacemaker/defibrillator) in my chest said enough all ready. I believe most of you can hear your body talk, like most I'll take immediate satisfaction. But mine has the capability to really get my attention. The first shock is not even a surprise, but it's like running through the jungle. You know it's there, you know it wants you, and it don't miss.
The first hit not to bad, I don't remember much after the fifth. Wife and boys got me to hospital, was hit 20+ times in four hours. One week inside, doctors and nurses doing their best and I'm back home. All is very shaky, but I'm here. And now I have very low tolerance.
Doing this to focus on something besides pain at four in the morning. But it's nice to have this special family to talk to and keep up with. But for now it's asta la vista. Love u all,

Ranger, I feel you're my special friend. Especially after reading about your closeness with your daughter during her wedding. Guess because of being so close to my dad & nolonger having him around, reading about you two reminded me of him. I'm so glad your wife & the boys were there when you needed them. Take things slow & easy while you need to. Since you listen to your body, you'll know when its ok to get going or when you need to take a break. Take time to heal & regroup & remember we all care about you. Post whenever you feel up to it my friend. Take care. :) :) :)

What's going on, Boy? You have a bum ticker and a pacemaker? Take it easy. I hope you feel ok and continue with your activities. I wish for you better days ahead.

Shovel, little story, 15 years ago while operating public water system. I was 50 and thought I was tough as hell, carrying railroad ties for the excavator. Major blood clot finds the widow maker artery that takes care of the heart, lost about half of it.
To keep me going, they installed my Cheney device. And just like the man has caused me some grief. First it has to be adjusted to patient, mine has bitten me several times, because I stayed active. This last time super bad. But docs adamant that it saved my life this time. But being hit so often has left me a wreck, they called it p.t.stress.
Have always believed the herb, has done nothing but have a positive impact. Especially since its all a system man. But after helping me beat cancer the last three years, the focus has been on that. Then going in for this was a surprise.
And don't want anyone to say that the mountain was hard on me. I am certainly glad nothing happened there, but the doctor talking about what I should give up, ended up with a shrink again. What is important? Life or living it.
The other thing is I get more God damn emotional with each near death event. I do think a lot of this community and what there doing.

I'm glad my friends feel comfortable coming to my thread to talk & spend some time. That was always my intent since I created it. Its still my grow log, but since my seedling are only 1 1/2 wks old, there isn't much to log! I hope everyone always feels welcome to stop in for a chat.
-- Ranger, I guess what you experienced would definitely make you feel any & all emotions more intensely. I think that's a 'knee jerk' reaction on a subconscious level thats responding to the shock of finding you're still alive. I'm sure you didn't expect to be. That's a lot for mind, body & soul to go through in such a short period of time. I hope your listening to your doctors, but even more to your people at home who love you & care for you in homeopathic ways, with lots of love & good nutrition. Now a days we all know how important nutrition is to healing. But above all, I'm glad you feel at home here on the forum & you know we love & care for you too. I'm glad we're family. :) :) :) :) :)
