i dunno .....i'm pretty smashed...
Look kids [ and people alike ] are going to do whatever the fuck they want. America is a great example of how mankind is gonna be the end of itself. I'm not even voting because I honestly refuse to make a stand for either sides of the party. I smoke enjoy it and on with my life. Besides you can actually have fun without getting high and I think it's important that someone doesn't lose touch with that fact. If they do, weed becomes there life, thats when the drug starts to own them and they start the downword spiral into being absoutley nothing but a pothead.
I am also a parent of grown children. I stopped smoking and drinking when I had kids, because I didn't want any chance of influencing them. Up until age 14 or so, I would give them no opportunity (lots of supervision) to drink or smoke anything.
During the ages 15-18, it was a don't ask, don't tell, don't get in trouble policy. They had opportunities to experiment, behind my back, and I didn't want to know.
As adults, they now can clearly make their own choices, and can talk to me openly if they have questions. They have shared some of the stuff that they "got away with", nothing earth shattering. Looking back, I think that they appreciated the limitations.
Im gonna have 10,000 children.
don't your parent smell it? even with a towel under the door it'd still stink the place out.Quote:

It's funny that people say that they think its ok that 15 and 16 year olds smoke reef because that is the age that most people begin smoking and that's the age where harmful effects of mj are found in studies. Not ages 18 or 21 or 30 or 40. Its not about whether your kids are able to smoke and maintain their grades. Its about their ability to have healthy, mature development pschologically. What if your kid is an A+ student but has developed social anxiety disorder or depression and spends his days in the back of the class then comes home and smokes pot and completely misses out on a normal life? Pot doesn't neccesarily cause these problems, but it can make them worse. All I'm saying is the evidence is there and its pretty fuckin solid. All the other claims and studies that the government has are weak in comparison. No, I don't think that I can get kids to stop using pot any more than alcohol or having underage sex. But if we can get the image out of peoples minds that we condone teenage pot smoking we would gain alot more credibility when we fight to decriminalize. I was merely voicing my frustration at the fact I can't do anything about it. People get confused when I have an opinion about pot that is negative but they cant see the reason why I guess. It is a good thing to weed out the bs in our culture when it come to weed. Other things that frustrate me? I think that all studies done on marijuana using low grade pot should be tossed in the dumpster. I also think that we tighten border patrol around mexico and stop smugglers from bringing their dirty seedy twiggy mexican garbage into this fine cannabis loving country. The midwest is absolutely rampant with this shit. I think we have the power to get rid of it because we are the ones buying it. Keep it high quality and domestic and preferably organic. Schwag weed is where people got there stereotype about stupid bumbling stoners because they have to smoke massive amounts of carbon monoxide and chems from burnt plant fibers and seeds and stems just to get high they end up stupid after years of smoking. Thats why they called weed, dope. It turned these daily schwag using people into dopes. This is another thing that effects our image in society along with kids smoking pot. There is a big difference in the effects from smoking good herb. I think we can all agree on this issue that we would like all weed in the US to be good stuff. Anyways, that's a completely seperate topic.
what the fuck caseman? y the fuck are you on this site if your going to preach bullshit like that? i couldnt give 2 fucks if weed was legal or not, well yeh, id prefer it to be legal, but im not about to fight for it like that. anyone can get weed anyway.
no, i wouldnt give my son weed, but i wouldnt care if he did it to much, i just dont want to feel responsible for getting him into it.
Man if you don't stop your kid from smoking or at least talk to him about it your a bad parent and should be held responsable for it. Being a parent means raising your kids, if you do nothing you have failed.
well...i asked this question for a reason and i didn't want to say that i did i just wanted to be as a poll to see more honest answers......i still don't know i mean i've never planned on introducing it to him....but i have a worrysome wife (he's not even 1 year yet so i got some time) but i want to know ahead of time whether i'm going to do the whole "you don't need to be doing that blah blah blah don't do it again" thing "or if i should do the whole "son, this isn't somthing to just party and have fun with there's alot more to it then just stickin it in a pipe and smoking it....you need to learn about it and stuff" thing.....i dunno.....it's hard to think of what to do tho. becasue it is a decision that will affect the rest of his life.....
