Need to buy microscope camera with stand. Cannot keep hands still enough to use hand-held microscope in any manner of efficiency. I cannot focus in for more than a split second. So the trichomes look good, I think.
Fed the girls with a good dose of unsulphured molasses. Gotta run out and get another bottle. Plan to give them a mild diabetic coma in the last few days before the flowers open. I fear we might have used sledgehammer too soon? I don't know. x.x Firetruck.

I got a cheapy set for both eyes you wear'em like glasses & wow focused on my hand I can see the sweat beads pop out of the pores its freakin cool..lol

U can put that light within inches of the plants.
It's within an inch and a half of the canopy. The light was up so we could take the picture. It's on yo-yo's for this very reason. Easier to do maintenance on the plants when the light lifts up and out of the way.
My mate is going home tomorrow in the early morning, to her family to bury her father. Tomorrow is also the two year anniversary of my brothers suicide. Today was the last day I talked to him alive.
I don't know what's going to happen over the next few days, but... That's the only certainty I can give anyone. I just don't know. Woke up this morning and spit out what felt like a mouthful of lemon juice. The stress is quite literally dissolving my stomach lining.
I honestly hope none of you reading this ever know this kind of remorse.
Fed the girls with unsulphured molasses. The bottle had a rabbit on the cover. More beautiful orange/bronze/rusty pistils are popping out. Planning a tentative harvest on Papa Smurf on friday, with a second harvest for the rest of the girls on the 20th.
With three cubic feet of soil, I thought I had enough room for four autoflowers. I'm pretty sure Baby Smurf is Baby Smurf because her roots are getting choked out. I think three is the key number of autoflowers per EarthBox; maybe one mother plant?
I found another medical grower who says he's always in need of clones. If I keep one large bushy mother plant, I could sell him clones at $10-$20 apiece, and use the proceeds to just -buy- more medicine.
I got all hippie/stoner Arts and Crafts with the leaves I clipped off of my plants. I took a white skirt I got from a plus-sized ladies clothing store, gently tie-dyed it, and then took a large fabric ink pen and outlined a bunch of marijuana leaves on it. Looks kind of pretty. Very hippie, to be sure. I might post pictures of it when I get pics of my plants in their current states.
Papa Smurf is just covered in trichromes. Maple is just starting to form them... the little two are now in the back so the mylar is reflecting light on to them instead of the bushes. Does -anyone- know how long it takes for autoflowers to open up?

Just took these in the morning before going to do an emergency patient intervention across town. Over there now, sitting with a friend who was going through some ****, anxiety, depression...
Keeping a close eye on the trike development... The leaves, though you can't really see it, are starting to curl upwards and turn white with resin glands. So looking forward to the hash off this stuff.
Just a few more days :) Hopefully, I can trim these before I have to go see -my- parents and hear about how I'm throwing my life away and a failure and disgrace. :wtf:
I just came home from spending the day with a fellow grower who just got caught with six plants and a pound and a half. He got caught a week before harvest. We smoked him up since he just got out of jail, and he's gotta go sober up for his probation.
Anyway, I got home and I checked on my plants first thing. The trichromes on the Smurfberry are turning a beautiful shade of milky white [and even a few amber], and I'm pretty sure I'm either going to trim in the morning, or Monday night when a few of my friends are free to help me.
We're closing in on the end, and the finish line is in sight. Victory.
Woke up this morning and checked on Papa Smurf. She's definitely getting the chop today. Gonna go to Olive Garden for that salad bowl deal I think, and make some calls to see if I can't get a clipper or two to help me on my first time. Definitely calling my caretaker and this awesome hippie chick we smoked with last night.
Harvested just over an ounce. Learned much. Smokes good; I feel like an alchemist for turning seed in to gold. Good smoke, and it's not even cured. Very happy. Starting up again in 11 days with Afghan Kush Ryder, hopefully with a better light.
Need to condition the soil, using worm castings and various avian guano. Perhaps lamb or sheep manure. Mix it in, and plant seeds directly in soil.
