Well, my old arch nemesis lwien123 (lol), a lot of things in my life were going to shit because of all my MJ use and I was going a bit crazy. Vaporizing about 1g a day of high grade MJ for years and years can make you a bit loopy after a while. I wasn't feeling like my true self anymore. I had stopped before but never for more than maybe a few days so I needed a long overdue rest. Then, as luck would have it, I managed to find a really good job but they drug test to get the job and randomly thereafter. So as of right now, I'm 44 days clean but still support medical marijuana legalization and always recommend vaporizing to new tokers I meet. I consider my break a semi-long-term absence for at least a few years while I get things back in order. This job might just be a stepping stone to another job in which they just drug test you once to get the job and that's it. On the bright side, I know I will vape again one day and it will be phenomenal when it happens. :D
Yes, over the many months when I was still vaping but not posting on here, I expanded my horizons. As you know from previous posts, I sold my Extreme but still used it when visiting the friend I sold it to. I bought my own Iolite, which I've since sold to another friend. Then finally I was lucky enough to try the Purple Days and Silver Surfer many times from the same friend who bought the Iolite off me...he subsequently became what I used to be-vaporizer loving crazy madman LOL and bought them to add to his arsenal.
These past 44 days thus far have been a real eye opener and I suggest anyone who has been a long time regular toker/vaper to take a little break every now and again...at least 2 weeks to a month or longer. It gives you a different perspective on things and gives your brain a nice breath of fresh air for a bit. Hell, I've lost 14lbs since stopping and that's a bonus. lol but enough of my ranting...how's life going for you "old timer"? :hippy:
