I have you all beat Tron, The 1980's film about a dude getting zapped into a video game has to be my number one trippiest fucking movie ever seen when stoned/etc.
My friend had a big screen hd telivision with a revized tron edition DVD we watched while a shit load of people wer at the house he turned on his strobe lights and all these blinking lights and turned off all the normal household lights and playd the movie but instead of using the sound on the film we turned on techno music and fast fowarded the movie to the light up seens
this movie if you watch when stoned i guarantee you'll trip out;)
Check out a video of it here

I'll second Fritz the Cat...rofl, great shit.
I used to watch the movies; Spirited Away, Akira, Fantastic Planet, and a few others with no sound and music playing as a past time.
Watched Natural Born Killers on acid...pretty twisted.
One of my favorite movies to date, however, is Modulations. It is a documentary on electronic music, ranging from noise to ambient and everything in between. A few artists featured - John Cage, Darren Mays, Squarepusher, LTJ Bukem, Mix Master Mike, Photek... I saw this film on acid, as well...and it honestly changed my perspective on music in general. It ties music to the cultures and timeframes in an absolutely brilliant manner. And you don't even need to turn the sound off!
Human Traffic is good...lots of drugs. And some decent music. Funny...kind of sad, but mostly funny.
Trainspotting is great, of course. There is another movie from the same director and a lot of the same cast.. Acid House...I've been interested in checking it out.
Oh, and from the creator of Modulations (Lara Lee) a movie called Synthetic Pleasures....it's good, as well.
And, of course... Waking Life is a great one. After I'd seen it a gillion times, I started adding music behind it. I actually compiled a playlist that runs perfectly with the movie's music and dialogue. :-p
1. ferngully (IM BATTY)
2. fight club
3. boondock saints
4. gone in 60 seconds (I swear i checked to make sure my car was still outside like 500 times)
5. dukes of hazzard
6. beerfest
Waking Life will make you trip out really bad and Breakfest Of Champions is a relatively unknown movie with Bruce Willis and Nick Nolte it's real funny if slightly surreal. If you wanna laugh your ass off get baked and watch Evil Dead 3 : Army Of Darkness. I swear me and my friends rented that movie about 10 times!
Anyone who has seen the first episode of the Nightmares and Dreamscapes series by Stephen King that played on TNT (the one with the army figures attacking the guy) will agree it is the greatest and craziest thing to ever watch when you are stoned. I've seen just about all the stuff mentioned in this thread and this 1hr 'movie' by Stephen King is just incredible. And you might not notice it while watching it, but not a single word is spoken the entire time.
dude, any Ernest movie. im telling you, it will feel like lord of the fucking rings. and you keep expecting him to do that "EEEWWWW" thing he always did, and when he finally does, you flip your shit. idk whats so appealing. we watched Ernest in the Army. XD
"Ernest! you fucking retard!" XD
I love waking life. A Scanner DArkly is really good too. I've been watching the lord of the rings and its SOOO much better stoned. You really get immersed in the story.Quote:
