you're not giving me much to go on, no details, no photos, BUT, 'over-ferting' results in burnt leaf tips, not yellowing ... yellowing leaves during vegetation, 'generally' is a nitrogen deficiency, while yellowing fan leaves during flowering is perfectly normal ... keeping the soil too wet, and root-bound pots, also exhibit yellowing leaves (in addition to less-common factors) ... growing-wise, NCDG isn't any different than most strains, EXCEPT, she tends to be a light-feeder, so, resist the 'fertilizer/additive syndrome' :D ... really, this is very Basic stuff, and thoroughly covered in the Plant Problems threads ... but, I'm happy to help while I can, keep us updated :thumbsup:Quote:

those are a bit yellow, yes ... worm castings are outstanding, but slow-acting, nutes ... you might want to give her a bit stronger dose for a few waterings, see if she doesn't green up ... I recommend waiting until you see alternating branches, before switching to flower, but if limited in overhead space, ya do what ya gotta :) ... keep me updated, I'll stay with ya ...
IR,
Thanks for the tips. I have some shultz 5-10-5 liquid fert. Should I mix that at half strength ? I thought the new soil would provide enough ferts to allow a recovery .
Not sure what alternate branching is. Tallest plant is about 16 inches. I have a small grow area. Little better than 2 sq ft and lit by 4 x 20W flo tubes. Don't think light will penetrate too deeply if the plants are tall. Plan to install a screen for sea of green . Also pressed for time. Would like to harvest a crop my early May. But I plan to regenerate after harvesting buds for a second crop . So final amount not so important.
go ahead, and give a regular dose of the schultz 5-10-5 to your plants, then use a half-strength dose, once weekly ... you can continue with your worm castings, if you'd like ... you really need a lot more light than what you have, but we make do, with what we have, eh ? ... 'alternating' branches, indicate the plant is mature, and ready for flowering ... instead of two branches sprouting from the main stem opposite each other, they are 'staggered' ... you can switch to flower at any time, but best results, come from waiting for maturity ... be sure to research the Basic Growing threads, most of this really should be known, before even planting seeds ... hang in there, your plants are looking pretty good, actually ... good luck :)
