Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
:) Here's a few choice dates coming up in December for those who want to Garden By The Moon :)
Harvest By the Moon: Good dates to harvest your crops when the moon will be in a DRY sign...........15th (after 1:22 AM EST), 16th Moon will be in Leo and Moon will be decreasing.
Crops should be harvested in the 3rd & 4th quarters in a dry sign. Crops should be dried in 3rd quarter, if possible, in a fire sign (Leo, for example).
December 24th (after 6:13 AM EST) and December 25th are also good harvest dates. The Moon will be in Sagittarius (dry) and Moon will be in 4th quarter.
GOOD PLANTING DATES LEFT IN DECEMBER: Sat. 13th (after 1:39 AM EST), Sunday 14th (until 1:22 AM EST 15th) Moon will be in 3rd quarter which is good for rooting. Moon is in Cancer, which is the most beneficial planting sign.
Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd are acceptable planting dates as well, although not as good, since in 4th quarter.
SUPER EXCELLENT PLANTING DAY LEFT IN DECEMBER: Wed 31st (after 7:27 PM EST) Moon will be back in 1st quarter and Moon will be in Pisces, a water sign, which is very fruitful.
Don't forget to adjust times to your particular Time Zone, all times given are Eastern Standard Time EST. It is best to avoid planting right near any time given.

No kidding, I've been suspicious since the 72 games when those German shemales competed! :) But I'm not worried about STEROIDS......LOL...
I plan on transplanting my NLHaze children tonite. They have outgrown their first transplant in record time. Already rootbound. Tonite they have their very first 5 leaf. Had a little problem with mold, but bumped temps and removed dried out topsoil. No further problems since. (Used barren weed killing moon sign)
I know what the problem was, forgot an old poor man's C02 experiment from last time. Removed from vast underground secret grow room, don't expect any more problems with mold. :)
Anyway, off to the laboratory for more mad scientist experiments! ;)

Had to transplant my little NLHaze babies again today. Didn't have a choice because they had totally rootbound themselves in 16 oz cup in 8 days.
The moon is in Taurus tonite, so I'm hoping for even stronger roots with this sign. Full moon is Friday nite if anybody feels romantic.
Thanks for stopping by

Well anyway Rock, the only Olympic event I'm interested in is Men's Diving....drool...drool.:)
The NLHaze babies survived the transplant without noticing they were moved. Don't believe they grew any last night though.... They don't look like they have a sativa gene in their ...er..bones. Big fat leafed rascals.
The Cali Oranges and White Rhinos have all gotten the shells off their heads and are looking good under their shop light. I did help one of them escape their shell, I know, I couldn't resist. She immediately threw her arms out and rejoiced to be free.
I keep talking to them and telling them there's no need to worry about reproducing, as I will keep them alive forever and clone baby after baby. Hopefully, this will encourage them to all be girls. Keep your fingers crossed everybody!
Now if I could just get the battery charger to re-charge those AAs, I could get photo.
Thanks again to everyone who has dropped by....enjoy gardening by the moon.

Hey PmBigBud: Thanks for asking. They are working on their 5th node, they're about 5 inches tall. Big wide fat leaves. don't see a sativa influence at all.
Camera batteries down, recharger is a piece of Chinese crap. Gonna have to leave the hills and buy a new one. Sometimes being green is a pain in the butt. :)
In the meantime, show me yours.....they are same age. I bet yours are still bigger. :)

Although my NLHaze babies are only about 5 inches tall, they have leaves that are as big as my hand!
They are doing well, as are the WRs and Orangebuds. The latter already have roots out the bottoms of their peat pots. Gonna have to transplant soon.
I just can't get over how the NLHaze babies have such GIANT leaves.......They are wider than tall...nice strong stems. They love the MH.
Well thanks for stopping by to see how they are doing.:)
