 Lola,
I figure that if it saves one person from getting busted, then its worth it. Over the last year there havebeen tons of threads from kids that got busted with weed in cars, or around cars, and/or on campus...then they are on here whining about it, when it could have been prevented in the first place.

My babies were getting pretty well root bound so... time to transplant again... this time into 5 gallon buckets....drainage is via a half dozen or so 1/2 inch holes drilled in the bottom edge of the buckets. todays measurement is 21 inches tall. The clone wasn't doing real well in the shot glass, so I put it in dirt last night too... oh well... its either gonna live or it won't.
Current nute program is a dropper full of Shultz liquid, and 2ml of cal-mag plus per gallon to suppliment the MG potting soil that has 1 1/2 teaspoons of garden lime per gallon added. The plants are getting the nute water every other watering, with plain water the rest of the time. I figure I will put them into flower at the end of the month if they are big enough.
Not worried about smoke for now... still have 4 cure jars full.

Thanx. They seemed to have liked being transplanted, they have grown 3 inches since transplanting.
If they continue to grow like that, they will be big enough to flower by the end of the month. FWIW, my last grow took 6 months, but the yield was worth the wait.... filled an entire case of Mason jars with bud that had been manicured and all the stems removed. Still have not found a single seed in the entire batch from 5 plants. :D

By cutting off the lower 4 branches, you could be losing as much as a qp of cured bud when the plant matures. I would think that you would want the largest, bushiest plants you can grow, and FIM all the main branches to force more secondary branches. the more branches you have and the longer they are, the greater the yield. At least thats the logic in my engineering mind.

Um,I took off a little more than 4 branches from the bottom...I find it makes the plant produce much better on the upper branches with larger buds, less popcorn, and improves circulation...I'll be flippin within a week...I understand your point of view but as imagereaper says,"I agree to disagree"...I'm really enjoying your grow friend...

Silly questions department... my babies are still under 18/6 light, but I am seeing waht looks like either they are sprouting a bunch more branches, or they are turning male. I really hope they don't turn male... I already have 3 months invested in this grow.
Check the pics.... comments??

yeah, I believe ya got a male there ... keep an eye on it tho, make sure ... you mentioned "having 3 months in this grow" ... if your NCDG are 12 weeks old, you should have switched to the 12/12 light period, in the 6th-8th week ... she is FAST ... matured too long, can have odd results regarding sex ... :smokin:

Ditto, those look like BALLs, little bananas, pollen sacks, etc..
Could flower them in a different area and save the pollen. Always fun to make your own strain, or try to...
You're going to flower with these 5000 K lights?
:wtf: :wtf: :wtf: hrm?
