I'm torn between radio broadcasting and being a pharmacy technician.
Because I've gotten my feet wet in the radio industry. In 2004, I produced a hip-hop album with a former friend. I said "former" because he then wanted me to get into explicit rap. Yeah...he's probably a lil' slow in the head. hahaha
A few years later, I made my own internship at a sports radio station. I was on their morning show. I screened callers, set up interviews, and did some research for them. The ratings were high, and so was I. (Not on the air, duh.) I added a young presence to the show. But this summer, they changed their format back to country music!! Needless to say, I haven't been there for a while. Now we don't have any sports radio stations in my city. ugh
I'm looking at being a pharmacy technician because the radio pay is lousy here. And I'd like to work in a pharmacy anyway.
The way that many of my radio friends make good money is to start their own DJ service. But I don't have a laptop, nor the gas money or time to go work with them at their parties, which are all over the Front Range. I'm working on getting those resources.
