Whats the point of even getting a card

thank you for the kind words ... yes, I use a Verizon USB modem, connects via cellphone towers, not satellites, though ... 5GB/month limit = $62 ... they have a cheaper 3GB plan, also ... works pretty well, can't complain about the coverage, but bad news, if you go over the bandwidth limits ... I used a magicJack internet telephone last month, a little bit ... it quickly ran my bill to over $100 :mad: ... (25 cents per MB, if go over limit) ... magicJack only for emergencies, now ... I also have a prepaid year of truckstop Wi-Fi available to me, while traveling, it works pretty good - $100/year, I think it was ... :smokin:

Gosh thanks! I was gonna get one from Verizon! Thot you mentioned a bit of trouble with hook-up. Dude, my Verizon cell doesn't work here, i have to go to the North side of my property to talk and it is dubious. The truckers Wi-Fi sounds pretty good-gonna check into it. I've been up in the San Gabriel Mtns and saw people who said they had satellite and had great hook-ups on a cell! I could switch to the Wi-Fi (and when that little earthlink kid came up with Wi-Fi, abandoned earthlink, I didn't buy stock, prob. good thing:jointsmile:) I may look into that and switch to it totally! We have similar lifestyles, think it'll work?

Sorry to jump your thread a bit, but no PM's, no choice. If I've offended you, my apology. Communication is a big issue and connections--even to get a mmj card.

Now that the dispensaries will be left alone, I am leaning a little differently. But, that started today, so I will wait, lurk and see! Before I jump on the band wagon. Plus, my county doesn't issue them, maybe they will now! Or maybe they'll just do away with registering the mmj users like a dog! However, I do license my dog, in case it runs away, I want'um back! the chip works too! A tatto did not!

yea, it's true that the penalty is not that big of a deal, but going through all the hassles of dealing with the law, and not to mention if the cop is having a bad day, he might even impound your car.
