Ahhh the Mazar. Im interested to see how she grows up, I've been thinking about growing her next. One of the best Indicas in the world if Im not mistaken.
The 'frost' is just little hair like things that grow on the young leaves Im pretty sure. Im not familiar with what its called though. Nothing to worry about.
Dont feed them untill they have at least 4 GOOD sets of leaves.

I also plan to breed my LR 2 also. and then maybe just to cross LR2 and mazar just to see what the outcome is for my own hopes of something crazy. if not ill leave it at that.
so was reading about molasses and flowering (http://boards.cannabis.com/basic-gro...-molasses.html) and i was wondering how that would work out with LR 2 and mazar. its something new for me to try so if anyone has used it with these strains PLEASE LET ME KNOW! it would be much appreciated and a little input on how long it will be before my LR2 shows sex. thanks again everyone for your help and your knowledge!
camoxnhx, sorry I don't have answers to your questions, but you should try the Search function at the top of the board - it has worked wonders for me in the past! There is a very advanced thread on the use of molasses.
As for the sexing of your LR2, I have not grown any LR, but as my single plant is autoflowering (a cross of Mighty Mite and Friesland = Mighty Freeze), my lady began to flower around day 25, which would be a little past the 3rd week from sprouting? That information may help you a bit.
And, there is something about an Indica's fat leaves that just really lights my fire. I can't wait to follow your Mazar.
Good luck on your grow! Be good out there!
hey cam, they're looking pretty good. i would guess that you would be seeing the sex around a month or so for the lr2 but i could be mistaken. can't wait to see these girls take off.
So heres a little update. Im a bit confused and i could USE YOUR HELP! my new leaflets (not sure tho) on my LR 2 are white and i have a small yellow spot on my leave. I dont know if the yellow spot is okay. It doesnt look like its decaing the leave and if its bad could it be a nut. deffenicey? well here are some pics. i tryed to take mutli pics so you caould help me out. i also have a up date on my mazar. its growing quick.
the first one is of the LR 2 from the last set of pics and the last 2 are my mazar.
camoxnhx, your plants look fine to me. I'm guessing the white leaflets you are referring to are the brand spanking new set popping out? If so, I don't see any problems with them - an uneducated guess would be perhaps there is not much chlorphyll within that new set of leaves due to their incredibly small size, so they don't appear as green as a maturing fan leaf?
As for your small yellow spot - I've got a bunch of 'em on my plant - every leaf can't be absolutely perfect, and as the rest of your plant looks great, I wouldn't worry about it much at all. Keep an eye on your leaves to ensure it doesn't spread. You really shouldn't be giving them much, if anything in the way of nutes at this point, so if your soil is a good base soil, they should be fine? Maybe just check the ph of your water?
Just continue to keep it really simple at the beginning, and your plants will do what needs to be done. I look forward to watching them develop! Be good out there!
