how's the "experimenting" coming along?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
and thanks for asking. things have been progressing nicely, my new cloner is working like a dream, i wish i had had it a month and a half ago, i'd have some buds half way to harvest by now, LOL.
it's been 1 week since i built the cloner and put it into service. i took 18 cuttings from 3 plants, 6 cuttings each, then i cut the parents down, of the 18 cuttings, 15 have rooted very well, the other 3 don't look so good, 1 definately is a no-go, the other 2 might root still.
anyway, i now have rooted clones from almost all my original plants so, this weekend i think, i will begin flowering clones from each and sexing them, once that's done, i can select 2 vigorous mommas and begin filling my Sea Of Green, 4 clones a week.
heres a couple pics of the roots in the cloner, kinda fuzzy but still easy to see

Looking good in there :)
it's nice to know i'm not invisible.
i actually started posting so i could get some feedback, so i wouldn't feel so alone and isolated. it's really nice having someone actually looking. thanks man

If you want to know if you are invisible look at the number of views to your post......are you there? (just kidding....:D) i'm always surprised when someone will post on one of my threads seemingly out of the blue only to discover they've been reading and following along the whole time.....people often won't say anything unless they want to point something BAD out to you....so less posts can be a good thing.
Ps....want a friend?......be a friend.......;)
PSS...EXCELLENT roots on those cuttings by the way....top job!
No way invisible, i am always reading your posts but i dont always have time to reply, got to look after my own garden only two weeks to go. :thumbsup:Quote:

oh, and i try to be a friend to everyone, especially the other newbies like me, i just get a little testy when i see people asking questions that are so simple that you KNOW they haven't bothered to read ANYTHING.
anyway, thanks and i love my new cloner !!! i start flowering for sex this weekend!! i can't wait!

thanks man, i appreciate your feedback. i guess, because this is all still so new to me, i need all the encouragement i can get. LOL, i guess i need someone to hold my hand a little, kinda like a kid looking for approval from all the BIG people!Quote:

good work on the cloner. I made a bubbler cloner before but I guess my water temps are to high here to get roots. I only ended up with one rooting, and its now in my DWC bucket slowly growing.
and since you always give me comments in my thread, the least I can do is return the favor. although I am another silent type I dont mind encouraging others every once in a while. Keep it up
btw, maybe it wasn't the temp that kept them from rooting. what were you using for a solution? myself, i'm using 10ml of ThriveAlive red and 2 drops of Superthrive in 2 gallons of water. also, if your temps are too high, try freezing some water in 16oz plastic bottles, then just put them in your res, you can even leave them open to defrost and blend into the res.Quote:
