My high tolerance - why do I have it?
Just quit smoking for one month. You have to let your seretonin levels get back up. Cannabis can deplete seretonin (cellls that tell you to be happy) especially in people who dont produce enough from the get go.
Since it takes THC 30 days to clear out of your system, just wait until it all clears. Sit back on that 30th day, ROLL A JOINT and get BLITZED!
P.S. The mind can be impaired up to 72 hours after the initial ingestion of THC. Just not impaired enough to feel. I thought that was a cool fact not that anyone cares.

I've been smoking daily for about 15 years, and I don't have any tolerance to this killer one-hit-quit-shit. Still 2 moderate tokes is all it takes for me. I think you don't get very good weed.

The best way to ensure your weed is great is to buy the best seeds from a reputable seed company and grow your own. For the past 15 years I have only smoked what I grow myself. My last harvest was extraordinarily POTENT and I think the one thing I did differently last harvest was I allowed my plants to flower an extra 2 weeks after they looked totally ripe. I have had a number of successful harvests but last November I harvest the most unbelievably powerful stuff of my life, outdoors.
The first time I sampled my NorthernLights#5 I took 3 moderate tokes and it smashed me, overdose. I swear I was sooooo fucked up that I could hardly stand up, within a half hour I started barfing my guts out for several hours. Each time I staggered out my back yard to barf. That taught me to only take ONE toke and wait a while before the next. And I've been smoking daily for 15 years, so I must have some tolerance built up.
I really believe the trick is to flower extra long time to really plump up those resin glans FAT and extra ripe, for maximum potency.

if your brain is constantly saturated with THC this becomes your normal mindset. also, your brain really has no time to clear out the THC. your body is very good at fighting off chemicals that really don't belong in your brain, and so as your body gets more and more THC, your body also gets better at metabolizing the drug.
you would be surprised at what even 4 days of not smoking will do to your tolerance. i was at the point where i would smoke like 1-2 grams of chronic a day. i wasn't even getting high. i took a break for 5 days and smoked 3 hits off a pinner and was more fucked up than i have been in this past YEAR. (yeah ian curtis wishlist does not know how to take breaks regularly).
i've smoked 3 times in the past 2 weeks and i haven't smoked at all in the past 7 days. when i pass my drug test on monday and start working i'm going to get some chronic and reward myself with a little chemical imbalance!
i think the italians have it right when they say moderation is the key.

If you do not mind the question, what is your ethnicity?
I am working on a bit of a suspicion that some Native Americans may have much higher tolerances than some other peoples.
I have a decent bit of Cherokee in me and I have an extrodinarily high tolerance to most things, including erb to a great extent, and alcohol, despite the fact that I rarely drink.
The only known case of a person being physically unable to get high off of even the best bud, throughout multiples trials, was in fact a Native American girl.
Natives have used many, many 'medicinal' substances found in nature, and cross tolerances are known to exist for many things.

We have a neuron receptor in our brains for THC processing...

My brain and endocannabinoid system seem to be pretty peachy with the situation. :wtf: :D
I think you and the Italians must be correct. Is 2x daily moderation?
O and in my earlier post, I should have said "the only documented case I have read about where a person was physically unable to get high... instead of just the only case.

yes and our brain produces anadamine , a natural cannabinoid-like chemical. that doesn't mean that your brain actually produces THC.
logically, if your brain did produce it's own THC which then binded to cannabinoid receptor sites, you would naturally feel stoned all the time.
the chemical doesn't really belong there because it's not produced naturally by the brain/body. it's this lack of belonging that is actually responsible for feeling "high", "altered", "trippy".
if you think back to the first time you smoked, it was most likely more intense than any of the other times you smoked. this is because this was the first time THC actually binded to your cannabis receptors.
