I, of course, had to suppress the urge to say, "Good for them!"
Instead, I told her I would call. She waited for me to make the call, like right in front of her, but I just kept stalling like, "Don't worry, I'll take care of it. Okay. Thanks for reporting it."
She left. I waited like ten minutes and then called, cause I felt kinda obligated to do so. I figured if they hadn't finished up by then, they deserved whatever they got for being stupid enough to sit in the middle of a mall parking lot in broad daylight smoking.
Soooo just wanna say a busy parking lot isn't necessarily the best thing either. Not a bad choice but I'd seek privacy if it were me.
were they like out in the open, or in a car?

probably out in the open. i can't think of anyone nosy enough (except the 'Peace Police' that someone mentioned earlier) that would report someone doing something in their own car.
i mean unless they're taking huge bongrips in a convertable lol

Shit like that pisses me off. Yea it was stupid of them to be out in a parking lot smoking, but still that bitch should have kept to her self. Mind your own business jeeze. It would be different if they were blowing the smoke in her face or doing donuts in the parking lot after words.

word, i wonder if it would've been appropriate to just say "ma'am, nobody who works here saw them, so i'm afriad we can't call anyone"
i mean, it'd be honest.

Yeah, I felt torn about calling. I wouldn't do it again, I'll say that. I felt like shit for being a hypocrite. My principles come first, before my obligations as an employee, and I kinda sold out on that one.
Anyway I thought it was stupid they were smoking in the open.
I'm pretty sure they weren't in a car. But then again you never know about some of the uptight weirdo suburban moms that shop at my mall.

Haha, I've walked down a main street in midday smoking out of my pipe with two friends and people just kept driving by and walking. No one said anything because we looked like we knew what we were doing.

Toked in two different clubs before the smoking ban, kinda sketchy, had some guy notice but they weren't in charge or anything and didn't care, just laughed about it. My mate got caught smokin a j in a club by a bouncer but blagged his way out of it by just saying "have a drag it's a cigarette", and holding it up to him and he bought it
Smoked at numerous concerts, one particularly stupid idea was when me and my friends smoked in the food queue for Tenacious D, most obvious place, indoor with a few hundred people around and we are usually kinda paranoid about it but no one said anything...so I suppose it wasn't THAT stupid in retrospect.
Smoked in cars lotsa times, probably pure luck and my friends careful driving that hasn't got us busted.
Smoked at my school before too but that was after hours when it was dark so wasn't really public....
I suppose you gotta just act relaxed like people said and if the vibe is bad...get outta there :rastasmoke:

Word I like to take a cig and empty out most of the tobacco and replace it with herb. I put a little tobacco in last so it looks perfectly normal. During my lunch break I'll just smoke it like a regular cigarette. Nobody would notice the smell because I don't blow cigarette smoke in people's faces.
But yeah like you said everyone's in their own little bubble anyway; also you can chew some gum and use visine to clear away any symptoms of blazing.

Does worrying about getting caught mess up your high? It does for me every time, responsibility kicks in and I start cleaning things up or just sitting and worrying about getting caught and what would happen if I got caught. Of course, the more I blaze, the less I often the worrying comes back to me (every 15 minutes). I really wish there will be a point in my life where I can blaze worry-free.
