Don't you have to bake the weed in the oven, before making butter....or not? I'm gonna do it today. :)
No it is not necessary unless you are using wet trim or bud. If the bud is fresh harvest (dried but uncured) then I small bake might be okay but I never do myself......Quote:

The recipe makes 24 squares, which equals 1-2 squares per serving depending on your individual tolerance.
That is an awesome recipe for butter.
I like to then melt the butter and some peanut butter, Honey, before adding to that liquid mixture, my favorite cereal (pumpkin seed granola), chopped up array of nuts, and oat meal. Then i let it cool and form it into little balls. A variation on the Ganja Gooball of Deadtour fame.
I find that by not baking the food, the cannabutter has an altogether more stoney effect.

I did this last night. I used a pot on my stove at exactly 225 for 2 hours. I used a 5.5 grams of mids and 1 stick of salted butter(made into ghee). I didnt realise that i should have used the coconut oil that i bought for capsules.
I still havent gotten the caps to work at all, and this was only a very slight stone. The thing is i got the brown crud leftovers and everything looked good. Mabey i just gotta use better/more bud and alter the recipe a bit. Thank you for your guides, they help build a general knowledge of how to. But wouldnt it make it unbelievably easy if someone made a video that cooking noobs like myself could watch and nail the first try? I just really like being high and a long lasting high is what im shooting for at this time of my life. I never really get high from eating weed and these guids give me hope. Every time i get a little closer though.
You will find that the Cranberry Oatmeal Ganja Cookies recipe is easy and should get you flying pretty high. Here is how:
Make the cookie dough as shown earlier in this thread, but make larger cookies - maybe 1.5 times bigger than a golf ball, six to a cookie sheet - and cook them for 25 minutes at 325 F.
This variation makes 12 cookies. For most people 1/2 cookie is perfect, and the high tolerance folks should do fine with a whole cookie.
My GF ate a whole cookie then proceeded to become paralyzed and pass out. She was so high she was spun out after 1 hour. She has a pretty good tolerance and is not a small gal by any means...
