I'm gonna add some more Everclear today, and just boil it down one more time to make sure, even though it looks good to go. I'm not going to add as much, just a nip, I don't want to agitate the mixture any more than it has to, but I'd like to be sure of a good trip.

Flameon, as you already cooked a lot with weed, i was sure you already had made a lot of green dragon also... you surprised me. Anyway, welcome to the world of the green dragons!
That cafetiere is VERY nice and surely will be very useful for making green dragon. If the weed were not ground too fine, may be possible you dont need to filter the green dragon after the heating.
Just remember to shake the cafetiere whenever a brownish ring of oily stuff start to form just above the level of alcohol, to re-dissolve it... doing so, nothing else can go wrong.

PurpleBanana, i think your green dragon its already ready. Anyway, heating a bit more cant do any harm... it may even extract a bit more of THC...
I dont know how much you smoke, or how high is your tolerance level, but im pretty sure if you drink all this green dragon (which contains .5g of kief) you will be HIGHHHHH... :stoned::abduct:
A thing i use to do when taking such great amounts of weed is to keep a kind of "diary". Whenever i feel any effect i write "20 minutes after drinking: starting feel heavy"... cause for me its the only way to remember the "trip"... large doses of weed completly messes up my memory, and the day after i only remember "i dont know what happened... it seems i had a looong dream... or i went to a farrr place... but how it was?..." So, doing this "diary" thing helps me to remember the "trip".

EDIT: Just remember to drink it on an empty stomach! It is very important, and can be the difference between a great high and a crappy one.

i think you shoukd do 2 of 2 things, first is record everything that happens, video with audio would be best, then audio, then video, i think it would be awesome to see this go down, even with a time lapse effect on it to make it last only a minute. And just so that when you go to the otherside of the universe write down the website and leave a note telling someone that incase of transcendence let us know.

oh, and quick note, if i hear about it on the news ill make sure to laugh my ass off.

Okay, so this is what went down this weekend. I brought my GD with me, added more Everclear, boiled it down again, and extracted a bit more stuff from the remaining colorless duff. I had smoked a few times this weekend, and my tolerance is fairly noticable, so I took 3 drops, and added them to a screwdriver with some more Everclear. I did not eat anything. I took a shower, and came out. An hour had passed since I drank the semi-okay tasting mixture.

Bottom line is, I didn't feel a thing. I know I made it properly, it was completely opaque and the expected golden green color. I am highly (no pun intended :stoned:) convinced it definitely had something to do with my tolerance; I've smoked mids every day, usually about 1/4 gram per day for two years now. I'm abstaining from weed this and part of next week, namely because I can't afford it because of tuition, books, and I've worked dramatically less than I have in the past.

So yeah, I was disappointed, but not wholly surprised... I'll let you all know when I'm attempting it again, probably going to be the weekend of Feb 2nd, probably February 3rd, since I'm off that day.

Anyway... how much green dragon you got at the end of the process, and how much of it did you drink?

Three drops? Ain't no where near enough. This isn't LSD. Try three droppers full (or about 3ml).

I was hoping to hear an epic story of legendary proportions as well. Sorry it didn't work out --- the outer dimensions are lovely this time of year.

How much of the total recipe did you take? I'm guessing you probably had about 15 strong doses total --- do you think you tried about 1/15th? If it was actully 3 drops you tried, then I am guessing that was not enough --- probably 3 droppers is what you are looking for (depending on the total volume). I don't think tolerance would make much of a difference. If you had enough, you would definitley feel it. With a proper dose, "resistance is futile!"
