Can budd make you hallucinate?
id have to say yes. personally ive never really hallucinated other than thinking certain things weren't what they are. but i have read a report were someone ingested almost an 1/8th, and he was describing all these hallucinations and it seemed pretty legit. he described it as "no less than 75% of a strong acid trip". i think it had a lot to do with properly making it into a recipe though, ive never really heard of anything that intense from just smoking
but all in all i mean if you hallucinate then you hallucinate theres not really any other was to put it, and i gotta say...
im pretty jealous

Eat one of my brownies and see if you don't trip.

it all depends on where your mind takes you, and how willing you are to let the high take over.
if you are very strong minded and unwilling to let the high guide your conscious awareness, chances are you'll never experience anything hallucinogenic, but if you give into the will of the high... well it could be anything, not a guaranteed hallucination, but it will definitely be a worthwhile experience!

Me and a few friends made smoothies and put some hash in them. This was after smoking all weekend long.
I thought I was in a movie for the entire night. As in an actor. I thought there was a director telling me my lines, which was really just a conversation with everyone in the room, but I thought the cameras were rolling.
I've never had a vivid visual trip, but I have insane auditory hallucinations every time I smoke. Just like McLeod is saying, everything turns into music for me. And when I listen to music, I am in a complete state of euphoria. It could be anything but the best is instrumental slower music. Epic.

Sometimes when I close my eyes in bed I also have visual hallucinations, like fractal patterns that morph into random scenarios, like a mountain scape, or people, or anything really. I don't know if they can strictly be called hallucinations, although one time in my early days as a toker I woke up in the night and there was a blue face floating in front of my eyes, not with very distinct features, more like a computer drawing sort of thing. Around 6 years ago I took a bus from Pushkar in India to Udaipur overnight, and for the journey i took along a bottle of "full power" bhang lassi, a yoghurt drink made from marijuana leaves that is legal in that part of India. The noise this old bus made on the bumpy road turned into music, like this minimal electro mix, quite possibly the most enjoyable bus journey i have ever taken.
yeah defiantly does make you hallucinate but the face thing sounds a lot like a sleep paralysis i have had it before its nothing to do with drugs but was still really trippy,
but yea once when i smoked a fat blunt  of some strong sativa strain and then went in to this fast food place. it was playing music and everyone was talking and everything started sounding really far away and then really noisy and close.

It is more likely to cause auditory hallucinations, the amount of times I've thought the phone or doorbell has rang lol
Had a visual hallucination a couple of times when I hadn't smoked for v. long. I remember on bonfire night me and my mates got baked and watched the fireworks. When I went back inside my friends house and I heard the fireworks I could see them projected on the wall. :stoned:

It's not a hallucination, but it IS a psychedelic experience on the scale:
Level 1
This level produces a mild 'stoning' effect, with some visual enhancement (ie. brighter colours etc) Some short term memory anomalies. Left and right brain communication changes causing music to sound 'wider'.[1]
Level 2
Bright colours, and visuals (ie. things start to move and breathe) some 2 dimensional patterns become apparent upon shutting eyes. Confused or reminiscent thoughts. Change of short term memory leads to continual distractive thought patterns. Vast increase in creativity becomes apparent as the natural brain filter is bypassed. (*)
* In order for the human entity to survive, it must learn from an early age how to shut out (or filter) the masses of information reaching the brain. This process of selective filtering allows us to become centred on a single thought. (Imagine being completely aware of all the signals coming into your body at the one moment, imagine being aware of every square inch of your skin and how it felt. Imagine being eternally aware of your tongue in your mouth, that itch on the end of your nose or the sound of the air conditioning hissing softly in the background. I believe that tripping brings back those awareness that have been shut out ever since we were three.
(Have you ever noticed children walking into a shopping mall? If you notice next time, they appear to be tripping, staring wide eyed at all the amazing colours, walking along looking up at the ceiling and watching themselves in the mirrored surface. As children age, they gradually learn to shut out the onslaught of information, they no longer seem to notice the world as their younger siblings do! By the time adulthood is reached, these sensations are even lost to memory. Perhaps this explains why so many first time trippers, seem to feel a strange sense of familiarity, a feeling that the trip reality is somehow more real than their straight reality.....)
Level 3
Very obvious visuals, everything looking curved and/or warped patterns and kaleidoscopes seen on walls, faces etc. Some mild hallucinations such as rivers flowing in wood grained or 'mother of pearl' surfaces. Closed eye hallucinations become 3 dimensional. There is some confusing of the senses (ie. seeing sounds as colours etc.) Time distortions and `moments of eternity`. Movement at times becomes extremely difficult (too much effort required)[3]
Level 4
Strong hallucinations, ie objects morphing into other objects. Destruction or multiple splitting of the ego. (Things start talking to you, or you find that you are feeling contradictory things simultaneously) Some loss of reality. Time becomes meaningless. Out of body experiences and extra-sensory perception type phenomena. Blending of the senses.[4]
Level 5
Total loss of visual connection with reality. The senses cease to function in the normal way. Total loss of ego. Merging with space, other objects or the universe. The loss of reality becomes so severe that it defies explanation. The earlier levels are relatively easy to explain in terms of measureable changes in perception and thought patterns. This level is different in that the actual universe within which things are normally perceived, ceases to exist! Satori enlightenment (and other such labels) (**).

Reading this thread makes me laugh, especially because for as long as I remember whenever I try to single out a sound in my head or surroundings I can usually hear three things. Baby Crying(I don't have kids). Police Sirens(live in country). Music(in house alone):hippy: often old radio then some light trance techno. I have felt that way since I was about 14 and have told people and they agree, I am nuts.

Ego death! Dude, this happened to me last time I did frooms (which are absolutely nothing like shrooms). It's such an amazing experience, you cut ties with everything bad in your life and you are at peace with yourself and your surroundings. I had the biggest smile on my face and I was ready to take on the world. Damn I wish I could feel like that all the time..
