Personally, my favorite candy is chocolate covered rum cordials. Alcohol is boring unless it's inside of chocolate!

Gum. Any kind almost but I really like stride and orbit. I also like bubble gum, it's just so fun to blow a huge hit into a bubble and then pop it. Or to just chew a hit into your gum. The flavor, the texture, it helps cure my cotton mouth (although it is impossible to get rid of).
I'm a mom, and I have a secret stash where no one ever looks (I live with two men). It contains my chocolate: Hershey's kisses w/ almonds. Little Kit-Kats. Some miniature Heath bars and miniature peanut M & Ms. These are mostly leftover Halloween handouts. It's a shoe box that's under the canister of clothes pins and beside the detergent in the laundry room, which is why it has remained safe for a long, long time. This thread makes me realize that I may need to add a few fruit candy selections to the mix like some Skittles, some cherry sours, and maybe a few orange slices and Sweet Tarts.
When my son was about 14, I had a stash of gummi bears in the kitchen, which he and his father quickly sniffed out. Before I found another hiding place for the real gummis, I set up a candy "aversion mine" of a whole sackful of Sour Patch Kids, which, to a teenager or a man just reaching in blindly for a handful on the go, was an imperceptible change. They knew it when that citric acid hit their taste buds, though! That was one of my best mean tricks yet . . . they still talk about it and laugh. (Luckily it didn't cause any lasting harm.)
