If i was pissed and ended up smoking a fag in the US I would be a angry guy and get arrested for a hate crime while in the UK I guess I would just be a drunk guy having a cigarette ;)

I'm positive no American would understand Cockney or Broad Norfolk - hell, most English people dont understand Cockney or Broad Norfolk!
One thing us Brits are great at is fighting - that's what we do.
You got the sterio-typical London gangstas - in the back of a pub in tailored suits talking quietly with sawn off shotguns next to em - That's steriotype is true for the proper gangs though, thats how i was brought up.
I dont find American words/accents funny - i just automacticlly change em into my head into the right words [right for me anyway]
Like if you said put that in the trunk in my head i'd hear it as put that in the boot.

Try askin for a match or a light or a car wash in a differnet dialect of spanish and it could mean a fight to the death. example Chinga las trastes..........means wash the dishes but here it means fuck the dishes.............big differance.

I have a funny story about that. When I was 15 we had my dad's friend come stay with us in Florida, and he had a cockney accent. One night I came home and was rather high, I was standing there talking to him with my hands on my hips. He says " Don't stand like that or you will get falalom", I was like WTF and asked him to say it again. Again he says don't stand like that or you will get falalom, again like WTF. I'm stoned and thinking WTF is falalom, a disease (I was rather high). After 5 times of him repeating it I said write it down. He writes don't stand like that or you will get followed home.
