Good lord, people are harsh these days.
Anyone who knows their shit, knows that its not how the weed looks but how it smokes. So if its gets you high as shit, like you say it does, then I'd be content. Good Deal/Bad Deal is a subjective term which brings into play a lot of factors (geography, finances, avalibility, luck, as well as the relationships you got w. dealers) all being said I'm gona say you did fine.
