Ahh, it was sarcasm, lol. You must forgive me for assuming you were some sort of fundalmentalist. Your first post came off a little brass, lol.
Are we on the same page, then?

i just dont understand why your trying to come down on me when im simply trying to help you understand this thing as a book so when you argue it in the future you dont make urself look stupid....im not some crazy born again or a hardcore catholic so i dont know why you keep infering that i am acting like that
i mean, hell, you said it yourself....you believe in being true to yourself...im just trying to explain how the bible works AS A BOOK, as a piece of literature written over many years by many different people....if youve read any of my posts ive only talked about the bible from a completely historical and factual context....i havent been running around claiming its all true or that jesus is the one or anything like that.....i just happen to study the bible and be really interested in it.....alot of it is fact but then you have the rest of it which is based on faith which comes from christians....im not talking about anything in that book that has to do with the faith part....i mean just because i read and enjoy something doesnt mean i have to believe it, does it now???? if you admitted to reading science-fiction books in your spare time, i wouldnt automatically call you out and assume that what you read is what you believe so dont do that to me and instead try to read my posts for that they are
Stemis516: so noone of that shit was direct towards you, i just used part of your quote, my bad if thats what we have now. This is what i want to say:
I just don't believe you need someone to hold your hand, like a church, i feel its for weak minded people. Maybe i'm wrong, i was never brought up in religion. I have gone to Catholic mass and Christian masses, so i have seen.
I believe if your true to yourself and others, you'll do alright.
Personally, my horse-shoe tournaments on Sundays are much more fun.
Yeah, we're cool. :thumbsup:Quote:

Like it or not a lot of people tkae that book so damn seriously, and they do believe it is the law of the land, above the constitution even, I mean people cite the bible all the time for gods sakeQuote:
