Pot shouldn't be all about money, but of course, since it's black market, it is.

I ALWAYS weigh my bags when a deal goes through. Always. If it's skimped and I pay full price, I got back, and demand money back or the equivalent of my bud back.

I got ripped off on an ounce once, weighed it WITH the bag, and it only came out to about 80% of an ounce. I was pissed. Went right back, and I got the remaining 20% plus about 6 extra grams. If you rip people off, they can get back at you in FAR worse ways.

Moral of the story? Yeah, that IS a real dick move. Stoner's code, man. We're all peaceful individuals here, would you rip one of us off? It shouldn't be all about the money, and if it is, then go back to selling harder drugs...

Dude, you dont have to steal from your friends... But you can think like a business man, and not be a dick at all.

If you know for a fact that 5 people are going to buy a sack from you every week, then you go buy a half zip or a full zip. Spend like 160 or 300 accordingly and then sell your friends 50$ eighths...

You come out with a free quarter and an awesome friend for going out of your way to get every1 weed... (even tho you "dont deal")

For the most part, at least around my area, the smaller you buy, the more the percentage yeild for the dealers... When people don't make that much money, they buy smaller amounts, and when they're getting screwed, even if it's only a little bit, it can still add up.

EDIT: I don't care about jacking up the price. If they're dumb enough to pay large amounts for weed that's not worth it, that's their judgement. But selling a short bag is not a good way to go.

If your gonna deal just do it properly lol but at the end of the day if they are your friends then you shouldnt rip them off unless you really hate them or something

My opinion on this issue is much different than most of the folks on this thread. I also think that some of the people that have voiced their opinion probably don't comprehend due to the weights they typically see.

I would be lying if I said I didn't short people ~5% of weight or overcharge when I buy midgrade/schwag. If I buy it for ~35/oz, I sell it for 50/oz, even to friends. Not because I don't like them, but because that is the market price, and anyone buying from me most likely can get it elsewhere. I do not overcharge but if there is money to be made on a transaction, I have no problems pocketing my buddy's 20.00 because I risk myself when i am holding, driving, walking with it.

If it is my personal stash (see sig) or some hi-quality, you get every last .x gram but if its a middleman situation, I will usually markup 5-20.00. I get 'rid' of my personal stash for free OR market price, not because I want to make money, but because thats how you get into trouble with other people who may "compete" with you (and you may not even know it).

One could argue that the 'market price' is whatever the buyer is willing to pay for it.

Lets say someone came up to me and said "hey, can I get a quarter from you?" and I say "im a little light right now, but if you are willing to do 120.00 for the 1/4, we could talk."

Now if you think thats a dick move, reanalyze the situation. If you are not willing to buy for 120, thats totally cool with me. I'll smoke the 1/4 and you can go dry or find another 1/4. Good luck.

Dude, it just seems like you said ALL of the points that everyone has said on here in one post(however contradictory they may be). What's your point? I don't understand? I'm not trying to argue, but I'm confused.

Plus, if I read correctly in the beginning, this guy is not asking if shorting people on a regular basis is cool. He said he doesn't want to sell...and he's told his friends that he doesn't want to...but they still call. Therefore, my only idea was to tell them you have none...or if you can't do that, tell them that it costs more, and if they are willing to pay, that is their decision. Or if you grow...and they know...you're screwed. You should've kept your mouth shut to begin with. :rolleyes: Then maybe you can blame your new high price on the rising cost of petroleum...whatever.
