What strain would you pick?
Clones seem to be doing fine. No root bumps yet.
Mothers inside cabinet... :( poor things. The picture is from day 121, today would be day 122 for them. I watered them today... poor things :(
Going to see if tomorrow I can get a cheap CO2 tank... maybe from a paintball store? gonna kill the pests... :D

hi turtle, maybe if you have any more troubles with the clones, don't despair m8 :) maybe clip a few more clones, you've still got the mothers rights? to be on the safe side, trim the leaves, cut off about 15-20% off the big fan leaves on your clones, snip at 45% angle with alcohol-rinced scissors or knife (i know you know this :)) and lettem root maybe in some rockwool, it ain't too expensive and i've just raised 15 clones this way.. i'll include a pic
on your thread: nice work man, you've come a log way.

Harvesthetic, What kind of grow bags are those?
turtle, Zandor uses CO2 and does just that raises the co2 level and kills the buggers. What kind of bugs do you have? fungal gnats? spider mites? Well the co2 will get them. Nursery supplers have co2 tanks for sale.
And thanks.

Another weird thing. The white widow were pretty skunky for about 5 days and now they only have a slight odor. I have not done anything different. When they smelled really bad I turned on the $20 Holmes air cleaner from walmart and that worked pretty good. I put my first clones in too much light and they curled. Then I put them in no light and they straightened out. Really interesting stuff.

exactly what i'm experiencing with my white widows :) (both 1st grow & scrog)
it's a normal thing i guess. i've noticed, when the foliage is healthy at the fullest, the stench is amazing in the white widow strain. when you cut the clones, they smell, when you grow them, after a week they turn odourless, and then again they smell  :)
and those aren't grow bags... :p I could only fix 2 square metres of thermal foil.
these are half plastic bottles with aluminium foil wrapped around them hehe.

Very clever havesthetic. I thought they were some new age technology.
Turtle, I took a look at justaseed's photo and I know how you can keep bonzai moms. When I started my hydro plants I used a 30w circular bulb for my lights. The plants grew amazingly slow and low. I couldn't believe the difference. I thougt at first it was because of the hydro, but I now realize it's all about the lights. They were like minature bonzai seedlings and the leaves were tiny. I couldn't believe these were started at the same time as my soil grow. I am astounded. My soil plants were under a 65 w fluoro called fluorex . The soil got twice the amount of light, plus they were going outside every day. The hydro plants were too hard to move and stayed under the 30 w 24/7. To get them to grow, I had to switch to the 65 w lamp to supplement for continuous lights. They went outside too. Now they are growing amazingly well. I thought I had stunted their growth because they still are much shorter than the soil grow. I still vegging them till the soil grow finishes.

I'm glad your learning how to:pimp: them clones:p

Hey Harvestic :)
Yes, I still got the mothers... hopefully, for years to come. :D
As to the 45% angle, yes I knew that... but I didn't know the alcohol-rinsed scissor thing... Every little bit helps! I'm doing that for my next cuttings. Thanks!
Thread: Thanks man. It's all been the boards. People here are great!  to everyone here...

Hey G, ! :)
I don't know the names of the pests, but there are three kinds in there.. you can check the pictures in this thread's last page... or the page before that. I think one of them is Spider Mites. I think. Anyways, I'll enjoy doing the CO2 thing... Ohhh yeah...
And np. ;)

Yeah! I don't know if it's the White Widow strain, or just weed plants in general (I would believe all weed plants), but they act like that. They very, um, "re-active".
And the thing about the skunky smell... I thought I was crazy, but your experiences have confirmed it. Mine have done the same. Sometimes they wake up in the mood, and the smell a little... mmm :) Then, the smell goes away... hmmm... Interesting stuff, definitely!
Clones are looking good... which is to say, they're looking exactly the same way they did yesterday, which is the same way the looked the 1st day I cut them. So, all in all, I guess those are good signs. I've been looking closely at the "roots", and the "root" ball at the end of the stem has already started to form... I guess the tiny root hairs should be coming in no time at all... I hope.
I'm really eager to start the GH vegetative feeding schedule on them... And I'm really eager to smoke my home grown buds... and I'm really eager to get money out of those buds... and really eager to... you get the idea... :)
Thanks guys! Love to all,
