I don't know if im too stoned or what, but I didn't quite get how many of those procyons did you use to get these results?
Anyway, it looks great!
Hi Dizzyground.:)
This rig consisted of a TI Probloom (300W) on the tops and 2 Procyons in opposing corners so that the LED output was pointed at eac other's corner midway between the top of the pots and the top of the canopy.
The idea was that the Procyons would provide sidelighting to lessen the loss of "penetration" vs a HID lamp.
That would be 300 watts for the TI and 200 for the Procyons to make a total of 500 watts LED.
:smokin:
Now that I know that my rig has the juice to deliver I've acquired some good Feminine beans (Barney's Farm Laughing Buddha) and will soon run them.

Hope this helps what I was doing with the lights...

Hey yourself:)
Okay thank you for the info. I was kinda hoping you didn't use that much LEDs because I am thinking of growing with LEDs instead of HPS lamp. Not a stealth grow or anything, just a thought. But it needs too much money to get that many LEDs.
I've been lurking awhile and was set to do the LED thing but don't see the output to justify it here. Am I missing something? Was the 7 OZ for 9- 2 foot plants for one, two or three light panels?
If anyone can point me in the right direction or sumarize the results, I'm lost in these threads.
Thanks
Not sure if we have the 'snot-sponge' thing up here, but I bought a solution of a targeted bacterium called Vectabac, which is supposed to be the only thing that will kill off their eggs in the soil. Have been using it for a week, with some good results, tho covering the soil is another good way to interrupt their life cycle... and helps with reducing evaporation!Quote:

I have also heard of people using diatomaceous earth on the top of their soil (kind of like a clay that is razor-sharp at a microscopic level, which cuts them up as they crawl across it), but I am having a hard time finding some up here in TO.
Besta luck killin' the bugZ.
