1.) Air enters the Nutrimist fogger.
2.) The fog gets pushed into the rooting area of the plants.
3.) The rooting area will fill up with fog.
4.) The fog then pushes its way into the humidity dome only after filling the rooting area.
5.) The humidity dome fills up with fog.
6.) Excess fog escapes via the 2" hole at the top of the humidity dome.
Also I hope you have been keeping the fogger on constantly...
Hey Thug, thanks for posting and providing your input :) I really appreciate it.
1st--> NutraMist isn't ON constantly... I did it like that the first time, and it was simply absurd the results... literally, it didn't make sense. The pot was fill of water (dripping on its sides)... the mother cab was full of water on its floor... the floor of my room had pools of ex-fog nuted water... the wall where the exhaust air of the cabinet hits, that thing was drenched with water... I mean.. 24/7 Fogger? Uy uy uyyyy....
My schedule for the fogger right now is a quasi-Ebb&Flow schedule: 1minON/9minOFF during DAYtime. It goes 1minON/59minOFF during NIGHTtime.
Seems to be working good. Although, I was thinking about that today, and during nightime, the exhaust fan is OFF. Well, I turn it ON for 1minute - the minute before the NutraMist comes ON to fog the place. Then the fan shuts OFF, and the fogger comes ON for 1 minute. Then everything OFF for the next 58 minutes.
But I was thinking, I'd like to:::
1- turn ON fan for 1minute
2- turn OFF fan, turn ON fogger for 1minute
3- turn OFF fogger,
4- after 20 minutes, turn ON fan for 1 minute
I think that the fog @ nightime is lingering too much.
As to your fog path concept, I follow you. I congratulate you dude on doing this by imagination! The thing is, my 50CFM fart fan, pulls air THROUGH the fogger hose. So, when my fogger is turned OFF, the fan pulls air through two places: 4" dryer duct intake (fresh air), 1" fog hose (NutraMist is turned OFF @ this moment).
So, when I turn OFF the fog, the fart fan anyways pulls the fog away.
The only way I see around this is to install the fog outlet directly to the OUTSIDE of the cabinet, so it's unaffected by the "vacuum" of the 50CFM fart fan.
I'd better nail this down soon, as I'll be having the same "problem" inside my flowering cabinet when my grow starts...
Thanks Thug, and I still miss the Puppy Sandwich... although your new avatar, for some idiotic reasons, make me laugh,

Hey Thug,
Today, stuck in a traffic jam, smoking a lot, and hearing some good music, I had a cool idea for your fogger.
If you're not buying the full fledged NutraMist setup, but you're buying the head(s), then you need to keep the nute level @ optimum, for best performance. Too high level, performance suffers. Too low level, the fogger shuts off.
Well, you can set your fogger head on a "buoy"... floating on the nute rez. You place the head @ a pre-determined height below the "floating material". That way, if your nute levels go up, or down, the fogger head is always @ the optimum liquid level.
Hehehe... my thoughts/posts are disorganized today too...

Yea, I had already thought of that. Also, I still believe it would be better to have it on more than 1 minute or w/e you have it set to and just have something drain the water back to the reservoir. I figured that you already had something draining it back to your res so I never included that part. Anyways, goodluck <3

Hello guys... I'll reply to your posts later (Thug), but right now I'm in a hurry... anyways, quickly... I snapped the uploaded pic.

Will do Buk...
I'll snap a 5MegaPixel pic when they wake up... then I'll crop it and edit it for upload. A 5MP pic is something like 2 or 3MB... I think.
After I posted last night, I went out. I got home late... some shit like 4 in the morning. So, I did my shit before going to bed... but, I couldn't see the plants. They shut-off lights @ 5am... and between this and that, and doing this and that under alcohol's influence, I was unable to open the cabinet in time. So I just crashed into the cloudy fields of Dream Gates Park.
I really wanted to see how the clones where doing... I hope they didn't dry up. I'm guessing they're wilted, but shit, they've got roots... they should pick-up... little bastards. Hey Thug, I've got a pretty good idea for the fog inside the root chamber thing.... You know our problem? That the fog escapes into the inside of the grow room? Well, I think... I think, I've got a solution. Let me try and hammer it out, and I'll do a picture and upload it.

I just opened the cab. Needless to say, fuck. :(
What strain would you pick?
 noooooooo Man I wish i knew what to say but I dont know squat about clones:( I hope u get the right info...
Maybe the strain is just tough to clone:confused:

Well thug it's okay to disagree. I read the website and it does talk about cloning and fogging. They are also selling a product. I read an article on fogging and it said fogging does not work with clones and did not explain why.
Then what happened to turtle's clones? They looked starved to death. They were not getting any nutrient at all. When I propagate I don't use any fertilizer in the water. It's not necessary. The plant gets it's food from the leaves. I left all the leaves on a cutting and the cutting rooted and never showed signs of yellowing till much later. I have also used weak nutes in cloning and it still worked.

Oh man, they look done for. :(
