Just a quick Flower Day 70 update...
Sticky, resin coated, and as stinky as can be. Two weeks since ending nutes, they are drinking about 1qt every other day. Trichs are SLOWLY all going cloudy. The girls are UGLY as can be, with knoby new growth poking out of the kolas.
I usually grab a pic right after lights out, but this is with lights still on. 400w HPS, 250w MH, and five CFL's.
I keep reminding myself that when you think they're done, wait a week...
After 46 days of veg and 75 days of flower, the lights went out for the final time...121 days. Trichs went 100% cloudy. I'll post a pic after my four remaining girls are killed tomorrow night. They get 24 hrs of darkness before I end their lives.
I'm pretty sure they know something's up. I wonder what they are thinking?
Did they get much chunkier than that last pic you posted? Nice work man.
Thanks....they got heavy. Two main kolas are at least 10oz wet. I wish I could grow 10oz dry kolas...the world's problems would be solved.
Well, mine would be...
F U C K . Girls!!! RUNNNN!!!!Quote:

One quick question 9... YOu said the closet is 5x5 right... How many square feet would you say each plant takes up... including the distance that is between each plant?
Thanks

Bending and tying allows you to train a plant to fit your space, aside from the benefits of more light on the secondaries.
My sativas all turned out male or hermie and were killed. It seems to me that mostly-sativa plants really spread out and use much more room than indicas, especially if you tie.
Hey, Clever: well, they are sticky and stinky...and I'll do a better job next time
:)
I'm hanging them intact with just a slight trimming. The weirdly bushy plant on the far right is my test dummy plant that got over-nutes and over everything. The buds are feather light and very hollow. I tried a small bud and it tasted like spoiled fish dipped in vinegar.
I'll trim more tomorrow, then let them hang in the dark for a couple of weeks. At some point, I'll cut and separate them a little more. I have a fan blowing on them to avoid mold.
After the are dry and snap when bent, I'll begin the curing.
I bet you are just going bonkers with anticipationâ?¦.I would be.
