Veg closet= 2 levels, each about 5x2, so 20 square feet in there, lit by 650 W total of MH
Seedling shelf- has not been posted yet- just lit by a 24" T5 new wave fixture, 2 square feet.
Cloners- 4 square feet when they are both full, lit by just 1 CFL each.

Now that I'm further into research, is it bonticare nutes you are using with the coco, or a specific coco product from bonticare?
 Bree
Heya bree
-I can't show you trichs because my camera is evil
-I'm using both the actual botanicare coco media, AND the Pure Blend Pro nutrients that are very nice in coco or soil. I think Botanicare makes really solid products, both media and nutes, plus their line of supplements is really comprehensive, reasonably priced; I personally think the Power Plant/ Power Flower stuff is great too, but it's not from organic sources.
more pics... I took clones last night... lots of em.
soory pics are so dark
1- all set up; don't forget to write shit down!!!
2- A slip from a low branch that has had the lower fans and secondary growth removed
3- What a mess!!!
4- Rushman's Toxic Lemon... AFTER being cut... that plant grows FAST.
5- Clones as theyu appear this morning, shiny from the wiltpruf, absolutely NO droop, flop, wilt, whatever. Notice all the leaves have been snipped down to 1 inch.
Latewood-
These plants were prepped with a bloom fert and superthrive for the last 2 waterings. I'll let you know how it goes.
more pics
1- another pic of veg closet after taking all the clones
2- Smashberry that almost died; was put into flower March 10, look at that toxic salt damage... she probably has 4 more days to ripeness but I just got sicka looking at her sorry ass.
3- Before manicure, after removal of fans
4- After manicure.
5- HEY!!! We're in the shower! Can we get some privacy?
Yeag's MTF came down last night @51 days.
Good bud density, easy trim, very good development on all bud sites... this is not a strain that gets a shitload of popcorn buds... every branch has a well-developed cola. Very nice! High five!
Check the knot of roots in the last pic. Thing is nice and sturdy. No wimpy pot plants!!!! BOO!!!
Bad news... I lost my last run of clones. We got a VERY unseasonably hot day, the room that my cloning setup is in gets SW exposure and has very large windows, and I haven't plugged in my a/c yet this year.... durr it's APRIL.
So temps got into the 90s in the room... prop tray is sitting on a heat mat... I imagine the temps in there probably hit 100 and well, whoever coined the term 'pot-roaster' for my tray-and-dome setup was DEAD ON.
So the next batch is getting rooted in the bathroom, that has blinds on the windows and is the coolest room in the house.
SHIT.
In other news, Plan B Black Indica came down the night of the 22nd and smells FABULOUS and got my fingers stickier than anything I've ever trimmed.
Oh you have no idea how freaking pissed I am to lose those clones. I have to get my flower room restocked since I've got 3 more plants coming down this week.
I copied this from a different thread...
xcrispi, I took a bunch of new cuttings last night using the clonex and rapidrooters and this time instead of humidity dome + misting, I made up the recommended 10:1 dilution of wilt-pruf and added ~4mL of copper based fungicide to a 20 oz volume of wilt pruf working solution. Then I shook it up like crazy and used it to dunk the entire cutting into. I also took more clonex in a dropper and sort of filled up the rest of the holes in the rapidrooters with it. Just an experiment, lol! What I noticed this morning is:
-no wilt at all
-some leaves are showing the signs of suffocation from the gooey wilt pruf, little dark translucent green patches on the underside of the leaves. It doesn't look too severe and unless it gets wose, I'm not worried.
My big thing is, I want to see if the copper solution inhibits rooting or harms the cuttings in any way. I'm just sick of mold, since my temps are so high at this time of year, and it has been a problem the last run.
Here's some pics anyway... notice how glossy and wet-looking the cuttings are from the anti-transpirant. I fear I may have overdone it a bit!
I put the dome on them at night just to keep them a little warmer.. furnace is off for the year and night temps are a little chilly still.
MMMMM bud porn, and a couple homemade water pieces
The big pink one is the Queen Bee. You can't really see the engraving on it, but it has hibiscus flowers and little bees all over, and a big bee under the stem. That's for Dutch Pimp, whose quote is in my sig, lol!
Hi Foxy- Everything looks delicious, and I can't wait to hear how it all smokes!
I chopped two Pure Power Plants this past weekend, and will post pics of the dried bud- talk about sticky- my fingers stuck together even after washing several times. I eventually used olive oil to unstick :)
Stoked, i wish i could fast forward myself to that time again.
Hey guys I'm glad you posted... I was starting to get that talking to a wall feeling!!!
Phew!
Well Demeter and Dusto, I can assure you that you will not have to wait for a smoke report!
Demeter, let me know when classes are done and you're out from under your piles of paperwork! I would actually be down for tossing the canoes on the car and maybe doing the Concord and Assabet rivers... whatcha think? It's a nice paddle this time of year, a little crowded thx to all the yuppies from Middlesex County, but still pleasant.
Dusto, hahaha a fast forward button would be great. If I had a super power I think that would be in contention... it would save me having to sit through my mother's "why haven't you gone back to graduate school yet you're wasting your life and btw you should be dating a guy with a PhD" lectures... AAAAGH!!!! I just got another one of those last week. It is probably the most unpleasant thing that happens to me on a regular basis. Well, that and menstrual cramps, lol!! Thank goodness the cramps are more frequent than the lectures. And I know when to expect them so I can take a Vicodin and a nap.
But yeah... the little bit of ugly smashberry I salvaged is pretty much done and smells like mixed berry jam, YUMMMY!, the Yeag's MTF went into a jar yesterday, the Black Indica went in today, and a Bogglegum got chopped last night. The weather has been warm and dry here so things are moving along nicely and I expect smokeable product by this time next week... which means I get to bring some MTF out to the Yeag when I go visit next weekend!
wOOt.
Anyway good things are coming your way guys.
LoL, so so is that vacation or businessQuote:

haha it's MY business ....you REALLY don't want to know the details... hee hee hee
Naw we're gonna hit up a baseball game and a botanical garden (of course!)
And then... :D
But f'real, the coco is hot shit.
But as for the clones.. shit... I'm pissed that it went from snowing last week, to too hot air conditioner weather this week, and I don't have all my window a/c units in yet. I have to convince my neighbor to come help me put the one in my veg room back in place.
Yeah I really want to see a real coco drip grow in action. Fert guy is after me to get with the program and join the modern world.
sorry to hear about the slips foxy. if you can will you stop by my new thread? i need some q's answered...
http://boards.cannabis.com/indoor-li...ml#post1395264
yeah, now alls i gotta do is just add like 5 gals of feed every week. I'm sure later in flower they will drink more, but its OK, sooooo much better that hand water. Like sometimes i forget it's even there. And the place stays a lot cleaner. Now wqe don't bitch at each other talkin bout...you gonna water...
i'm scared, my landlord is coming over now, short notice, last night cuz we noticed a leak in the drain of the master shower, so i think he's just gonna take a look. I think if he ever saw the hut i'd tell him not to open cuz i do photography and it a mini dark room. The ventilation is for the chems that it takes...whaddoyathink...funny huh
beat ya to it already respondedQuote:

I just say that I had to scrub a spot off the carpet where [insert excuse such as dog peed, roommate's girlfriend got smashed and yakked, etc] hahaha works like a charm; all you can smell is acrid/chemical stank.
Of course, with your luck... watch the landlord be an amateur photographer and be all, oh cool, let's talk shop! :D
Hey, Foxysox! How are you?
Those buds look very nice. The Black Indica sounds good. I would love to try some of that. Sorry to hear about the clones. That sucks...but you've got more going, so you'll only be a little behind. Didn't you say before that you started more seedlings a couple weeks ago? How are they doing? :D I hope they did not get kilt along with the clones.
That's the beauty of auto-irrigation. So smooth. Love it.Quote:

The Fog :rastasmoke:
Well I am at my wits end re: stupid stupid clones.
Suddenly I am having problems.
Like, this time I did 1:10 wilt pruf + just a small amount of copper fungicide as a dip.
The plants aren't wilting, but they are showing even worse signs of suffocation, and I suspect they won't survive.
I get the feeling that the listed 1:10 dilution on the antitranspirant is only suitable if one intends to apply it as a light MIST, not dunk cuttings in it.
I have to get get some expert advice here f'real.
Why do I think I'm making this overly complicated?
Looks incredibly good! Yum, I like the bud porn!
 Bree
foxy, i can honestly say this... please take it for what it's worth....
the less i care about my cuttings, the better results i have; i've used an aerocloner, it works, it's cool, but....
rootone and dirt is my best bet; always has been, cut, dip, stick in the dirt.
k.i.s.s. ;)
and i don't use anti-wilt; i just mist lightly once a day.
yes woman, too complicated, but surely there is some method to your madness..what happened to clonex and rooters....
hahaha dusto I'm just overcomplicating everything this week. I mean, EVERYHTING.
I was trying to get around a heat problem, which I have since solved, and thought this way would be neat to try...
Well it's back to clonex and rooters, lol... someone smack me.
So since I apparently can't grow cannabis properly this week, I shall now turn my attention to making specialty candles... :D Shit's dry enough to pack. Cure en route, lol.

wow, too much going on to keep up with, Foxy. At least lost of it is good news. Have a good time at the Ball Game. What game will it be? Bluejays vs. Rangers? I'll be listening to the Red Sox-Yankees for shur. Have a good one.
I decide that I do not have the room to cultivate clones or keep a mom at this time. I do have two males (both afghaniXBog) in segragation and will probably introduce a nice female to them sometime soon. So, I'll hedge with seeds for now then.
Wishing for some sativa beans for outdoors this season...
Shov
Right right shit I gotta get to the post office~~
Ballgame is going to be Tigers at Royals. 2 sucky teams battling it out. Good times.
Yeah anyway gotta love that the yanks are in last place hahaha course my friend up your way is a Yankees fan... weirdo... it's a perversion against Nature!... every so often I have to go slap some sense into him... at least now I get to gloat, too.
awww can't smoke until after 4 when I jet outta here.
ha did you see my Padres lose last night, Peavey threw 16 k's in 7 innings only to have Hoffman get a walk off 2 run HR in the 9th, WTF
Foxy I just finally made it to this thread. Are your clones doing any better? Love your photos and growing equipment.!!!!
Updates!
Well stranger things HAVE happened, but not in my garden.. up to this point!
Af X BOG decided to turn maroon... true, clear, rich maroon... over the course of the last 2 days, and temps are staying above 68 even at night! What WHAT???!!! She's a beauty though, already the prettiest lady in my garden BEFORE her chameleonic turn!
The clones from the last 2 runs... a few from the first one, with the heat anr rot, seem like they are going to make it. I think there are 3 that will survive.. a little ratty, but alive.
The ones from the run that was dunked in wiltpruf, I lost half within the first 24h but of the ones that survived, they appear to have already struck... the stems don't pull out of the plugs easily... they are still perky, but damaged! Weird.
So I took another lot last night, effectively cleaning myself completely out of avaliable cloning stock, and went back to the old way of doing things, but using the wilt-pruf dunk I made as a foliar mist instead. Moved the whole setup back into my pantry, where it had worked well before (constant temperatures, no sunlight), and propped the dome a little so the humidity is higer than the room, but lower than it had been in the past.
This morning everyone is looking very very perky.
i'll withdraw my smack now. :)
I love it when they change colors, like mine did last time, some went purp.
Glad to see you remembered how to clone...LoL
howa bout a pic of the changer?
