Miss Stinky's First Grow Log =p
Welcome back stinky, check out my newest pics of the girls, day 3 of flowering, and they already look a little thicker than they did in the last pics, filled out and bushed up a bit. I totally envy your seed stash too lol, so far I've only had 2 orders make it through, and got those rhinos that are seedlings, and my girl ordered more without telling me but she got more white rhinos and some ak-48s lol. Nirvana also sent some "magic mystery mix # 2" with that order, no fucking clue what they could be. Oh, and check out the purple peppers, I got tons of beans left and this is what they look like 2 days above ground, takes less than 18 hours from breaking soil to go from white to green to dark ass purple.

Weird...cool... color changing seedlings....
So your girlfriend orders beans too... cool. I wish my other half would buy seeds instead of just being content to smoke the harvest!

Miss Stinky's First Grow Log =p
Lol, only problem was we already have white rhino, and I was wanting something different. Oh well, it was still a very sweet thing for her to do :D

Hey stinky, sorry to keep hijacking your thread and talking about peppers, but I got a quick question.
Is it normal for pepper seedling leaves to curl downward? Its not like the tips of the leaves, but the whole leaves that curl. They look healthy and green, no burns, and they're developing new leaves, but it just looks kinda off to me. The purple ones are fine, both leaves point straight out. But both my jalapenos are affected. They just have a nice even round curve to the leaves with the tips pointing almost back toward the stem. I'll try and take pics tomorrow, but any ideas?
-
Miss Stinky's First Grow Log =p
I have no idea about the pepper leaves... I haven't seen that but maybe it's the variety?

Oh my goodness what a busy day.
Just finally getting around to updating the ol' log.
Not much going on... this seems to be typical!
I found and killed a bunch more aphids this morning that came inside on my veggies. It's odd, they only go after my pepper plants and nothing else, while the thrips like munching my seedlings... go figure. You'd think ALL the bugs would want nice tender young greens!
So what's new...
I've got some more sweet tooth seeds in dirt as of this morning, and also a whole bunch of some of my own seeds, that were from a very nice female crossed with I forget. Duuuur.
I took down the best smelling plant I have EVER grown... it was from my friend's kid who breeds. He gave me a bunch of seeds from some sweet stuff we were all smoking, said it was a 4-way cross of all the basics, and even though this particular plant has been through the wringer, it still produced ridiculously sticky buds that smell exactly like CANDY. Kind of like if you stick your nose in a bag of Skittles. I seeded a bud too so there's more of that on the way with any luck.
So here's some pics, a Purple Star baby showing whorled phytolaxy (ha ha, a new geek term!). Plus the ez-cloner gets a bath, and there's a fuzzy pic of my BOG Blue Moon Rocks at about 3 weeks from seed. That one's going to be a doozie from everything I've heard/read.
Yeag, if you're following, MTF seedlings are on their 4th set of leaves and show almost NO stem. Really tight. Go Alaska! I tried to take pics but my camera is beyond horrible and they came out fuzzy. It's the last one.
-
Miss Stinky's First Grow Log =p
I want some of those Skittles bud seeds! Mmmmm candy! The best tasting shit I've yet to smoke to date is sweet tooth, and that shit IS candy i swear. Thats cool that kid breeds, I'd love to be that far along in my growing one day. Right now, I just want a harvest. Love the pics stinky.
-
Miss Stinky's First Grow Log =p
He's real young too, not even 20, and learned from his parents who are out of the business now after having a VERY large outdoor crop stolen....this must have been back in the 80s...
Sweet Tooth has been on my wish list since I first started growing. I like any earthy, herbal, piney, or citrus-tasting buds. Not such a big fan of things like bubblegum, but each to his own I suppose.

hey there stinky, ;)
I know i don't have many posts here but thats because i use another forum for a growlog and usually this forum for info. Maybe i missed it, it's a pretty good possibility, but how did those godbud X dreamweaver do? I ask because i just received a couple of these seeds from a friend who also received them as a "freebie". Just kinda curious as to their possibilities! ;) Anyways any info you could pass on would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

They aren't done flowering yet but I like how they are looking so far. Nice looking indoor plant, that's for sure. Nice broad leaves.
You all would hate living in my attic. The stairs make my back hurt and the dog goes up there and farts all the time, especially if we give her kielbasa, or if it's a day of the week that ends in Y.
For anyone who wants to know about my odor control... it's called the Boxer Digestive System Method. Pheee-EWW. Can't smell anything else for an hour if that bitch lets a fluffer rip.
This is a picture of her at our luau. She's smiling because everyone was giving her people food and she was planning some chemical warfare for later.

Lol, that made me think of that "Labrador" weed they smoke in one of the Cheech and Chong movies after that dog eats Chong's sack. I love boxers, she's cute.

Hey guys, Rhino, Orangeman, Ecky, F[r]og, Splifted, c of green, mer de vert, all of ya'll.... hit me up with some emails will ya!? redlined250 @ hotmail
We should get a pepper seed exchange going... I have a bunch of Pequin Chile seeds, some crazy habaneros, all sorts of Italian sweet-hots, and even I think some crazy colored bell pepper seeds left from last year.. . plus I want to be able to chitchat with you guys!
-
Miss Stinky's First Grow Log =p
When would you plant an outdoor vegetable garden, March?
-
Miss Stinky's First Grow Log =p
That's when I'd get the seedlings going. But around here, unless you;ve got a greenhouse, you can't put anything out until May 1st or it will get all frostbitten. I think I'm going to build a hoophouse this spring for my beloved peppers... mmmm!
-
Miss Stinky's First Grow Log =p
Yep... Def. going to have to get a garden going for next year. Plants are too fun to just grow 1 species.
Can you LST garden plants for any beneficial gain?
Also, You top between the 4th and 5th nodes (for MJ)?
-
Miss Stinky's First Grow Log =p
Hey, Stinky. How was 'your' break? ;) Hope everything is well. Will hit u up on the hot box soon when I set up mine. :D
I love peppers. I used to grow habaneros, cayenne, and a bunch of others. Strawberries, cantelopes, tomates (of course), small bananas, and some grafted tree the was supposed to produce like 4 or 5 different kinds of fruits...I never saw it to the end.
Be spicy...!

I don't know about LST'ing garden plants per se, but if I had to start somewhere it would be training my tomatoes diagonally so the plant gets more light. But the plain boring tomato-stake method works okay for me!
I top AFTER at least 5 nodes... I basically wait for signs of side growth to form on their own. Some strains don't take well to topping; the ones that want it will definitely tell you in their own planty way. MY rule of thumb is if there's a bunch of side growth by the 5th or 6th node, that plant wants to be a big ol' shrub!
F[r]og, I see those silly multi-fruit trees in garden catalogs all the time and have yet to see one work the way it's supposed to! Kind of curious though... did it have like 5 different colors of flowers in spring too?
-
Miss Stinky's First Grow Log =p
Hey Stinky, put 20 of your off spring in 2 days ago and 16 are down under now.
I like spicy chilies, HabaƱero, Vietnamese and so on, what do you recommend for a fairly easy grow, and should I throw them into the 24-7 cab with 175MH, or the 18/6 cab with the 400MH cab or the 12-12 room on the sides of the 1K's???
I know that some vegges grow best under 18-6 threw the whole cycle and with things like the HabaƱero low N and lower amounts of water with higher heat will help to produce a hotter taist, any little tips???
Adieu

Miss Stinky's First Grow Log =p
I've got mine under 12/12 stuck in around the sides of the 1000HPS coverage area... For easy, there are these little almost triangular or heart-shaped chilies about an inch to an inch and a half long, and maybe 3/4 to 1 inch in diameter, I have NO clue what they are but I got seeds fromo someone and they are indestructible and yield a lot of fruit indoors... never tried the 18/6 thing since I've only got 2 rooms plus my cloning closet... but they definitely like the heat! Only problem seems to be with aphids. But I have NO clue about the fertilizer... they get fish emulsion mixed in the soil, and bloom ferts with their water, and I haven't heard any bitching out of them!

Miss Stinky-
I have to say that your grow log is truly inspiring, in fact I've started my own grow because I was so impressed by your results. (Of course I don't expect the results you had.) I just wanted to thank you for sharing your work, it's so rare to be able to learn from a true pro.

Whats up Stinky I got your e-mail saying you were staying around and it seems you have many others around here are happy to hear your staying too. I'm Stony everywhere else just so you know who it is. I should be getting my log together in the next day or so. Your judgement is respected so let me know what you think. I'll be running the same grow on the other site as well so if i'm not here i'll be there. See ya around

You get my message miss stinky?
I ordered 9 different types of peppers (in addition to the 4 i already have), and I traded 1 type i had for 3 more, and with any luck I'll be getting some Dorset Naga pepper seeds in trade for some heirloom tomato seeds the guy wanted.
Dorset Naga peppers are the unofficially hottest pepper in the world. The current guiness world record holder is the red savina habanero, which only was tested at 577,000 SHU while the dorsets have been tested at 876,000; 970,000; and just this past october 20th at 1,598,227 SHU. That is absolutely fuckin insane. Pure capsaicin is 16,000,000 SHU while your typical Jalapeno rates from 2,500 to 10,000 SHU.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dorset_Naga
Haha, i know that makes them practically useless except for chemical warefare, but i think a jar full of dorset's would make a nice conversation piece, since 1 full pod can hostpitalize you. :rasta:

hi stinky, just read your whole log (wow, i've been missing out;)) and i've become inspired to do some more building of my own. i took your advice on the male box (haha) and have a trainwreck and a blueberry in there now.
the pollen i managed to collect from my first controlled pollenation attempt is mixed, but mainly bb...
i've been waiting to hear from you in "increases yeilds, speeds harvests" have some prelim results to post tonite...
i've something i'd like to ask you personally; can i send you an email?
happy belated turkey day:)
love, kp:p

I don't have any real scientific results with that cytokinins spray because I never labeled which plants were treated, lol, durrrr...... I do sort of sense they showed sex a little quicker but I might be imagining things!!!
Hey BlueBear, got some of your kiddos soaking and ready to go!!!! If you're gonna be a bear.... heh heh.
KP, I'm about to rebuild my male box to make it better, more pollen-tight, and more permanent. I'm thinking of sewing a cover of a couple layers of fine gauze and putting in zippers to open and close it. So far the one I've got os working fine but it DEFINITELY isn't perfectly pollen-tight yet and I'm expecting some rogue crosses, oh well, everyone in there is worth breeding anyway! I'd love to hear from ya, my email is a few posts up...
You guys are the WORST... don't go calling me a pro!!! :D I'm NOWHERE near there, just a geek with extra space and time on her hands and a wicked sweet tooth for the stickier things in life! This whole log is kind of a growing experience... durrr that pun was unintended... for me [and the plants] and my yields are better quality every week, but nowhere near what I hope they will be someday... If you haven't seen the 'subcool's brief history of cannabis' thread under pictures... THAT'S the ulitmate goal!

Miss Stinky's First Grow Log =p
Hey, Stinky girl. I am going to check out that thread. Have you seen Tranobles 3lbs per light thread....THAT is my goal.
Please take a look at my plexi box topic in the advanced section and give me some feedback. I think it would be nice to see your boys full time and still be air pollen tight.
Love babe-Jay
