I will try to post some pics next week. They have been unattended for days at a time without proper ventilation. At least the cold weather is helping. They are not in the best environment but the buds are swelling up. :D
I don't know if my plants r wierd or yours, im growing white widow and my plants are alot darking and have broader leaves, look like indica mother bitch's but your looks more like a sativa, is this common with seeds from different seed banks?
I was wondering if all 3 of my plants are WW or not. One of the three looks totally different than the other two. It's much darker as you say and the leaves look different as well. Wasn't sure if I mixed up a bagseed with the WW's or if it was just a different strain of WW. Now I noticed how much the darker plant smells. The buds are very stinky and the other two don't smell at all.
I was rushing in my grow room while trying to flex the main colas apart and I snapped them. I used one of those green velco straps to hold them together. I hope it doesn't slow them down too much. I can't believe how much they have grown since I've been neglecting them. They are looking great. I will try to post pics this week, but if not, I will get them up by the weekend. :pimp:
Wow, man. That sucks. I snapped a main cola branch recently too. :( I would like to see pics of yours and see how they come back. I haven't posted pics of mine either, but it looks very sad since the snap. :(
I haven't said anything but now that you know, I dont think they are WW. :( Maybe the one, like you said. But hey, even if it's "bagseed," it should smoke good if it's grown well. :thumbsup:

Only one out of the original plants looked different and it turned out female. So if there's a non WW, it's only the one. The other two are turning crystal white. I think the velcro keeping the wound closed is working well. Time to shop for christmas tree decorations :thumbsup:

I cut this early bud to smoke next weekend. I quick dryed some in the microwave and it worked well :stoned:
After the clipping I raised the pot to get all the buds closer to the light.

Nice grow man. I don't quite understand cloning. Do you take a clipping from a plant, and get it to grow on it's own? I would assume it would inharet the plants sex, which would be nice. They also seem to grow shorter and bushier from what I have seen in this thread.

My plants were grown from seed but cloning is the way to go. You want to take a cutting from a female that's in the veg stage and plant it. Then if the cutting takes root, it will grow up and be just like her mom. At first, you may have to take cuttings without knowing the plant sex, then you can keep a known female in veg all the time to take cuttings from her. After the cuttings root and veg, you can flower them and get buds. This is the best way to get females all the time. Read up on cloning for all the details. :thumbsup:Quote:

Clones rock. Best ever. Grow a mother plant, cut clones, cut more clones, grow clones, flower clones, keep mother plant. You can always grow another mother plant from a clone too if your mother is getting too tall. Clones are easy to root and easy to control. Always use clones, if possible. Check out my thread if you wanna see some of the cloning work. We are on the 3rd run of clones. 100% successs rate. :thumbsup:
Read up on Bonsai Moms to learn how to keep your mothers bushy and short. They will be able to give you 30-50 clones each time. I would never need that much, but it can produce it if you need it. 2" dia stalks... nice.

Even with a quick dry, she's smoking nice and strong. The larger plant still has about 10 days before reaching 8 weeks. I'm considering letting her go the full 10 weeks. She's putting out 4 large buds. :pimp:
So how many plants do you have inside in total, and under how many watts of light? I just got a 400 watt MH Conversion/HPS system, and I'm wandering if it will give enough light to grow 6-8 plants.
I have 3 plants under a 400W light. I have one small one (I call it a bonsai) and two regular sized. I think the amount of plants depends on your training method. Last grow I had about 5 females but I'm doing much better with only 3 this grow. You can grow one large plant or 10 small ones.

I'm starting from seed, not fem. either, so I guess I'll start with 6 plants. Hopefully as they start to show thier sex, I'll take out the males. I got my seeds from Nirvana (Or actually am awaiting the seeds). I got Nirvana Special. In the end, I hope to be growing by clones, a total of 4 plants every harvest. What soil and nutes do you use. Tell me more about the specifics of your grow op. I havent decided on soil or nutes yet, only that I'm going to start the seeds (then clones) in rockwool.
I'm sharing this thread to show simplicity. You don't have to get too technical with the plants to get decent results. You just need to put them in a comfortable environment and feed them. They are weeds. :D
Since my irrigation water has a high pH, peat works good in my pots. I mixed in some coconut husk chips I had on hand along with perlite for good drainage. The peat and the chips retain water so they only need water every 4-5 days. The chips have a natural pH of 6.5 and last for years. I don't have them in any kind of box. I'm sure light is escaping, but I like to keep it simple by just hanging the light above them. They are raised off the concrete floor so drainage is not a problem. I used fluorescents and sun when they were young. After a few weeks, I mixed fish fertilizer, tomato fertilizer, and big bloom for the veg stage and now I'm giving them only big bloom towards the end. I gave them one serving of the veg mix during flowering.
I don't know how much she's gonna weigh but she's looking mighty good to me :thumbsup:

What I meant about simplicity is quite the opposite of your style of growing. I just got some pots, peat and perlite and dropped some seeds. Then I hung the light above them. Just add water. I already had fertilizers on hand. Also small fan that has been off :pimp:

MY " NL / BB " looks like a very long limbed, anti bushy - very sativa leafed plant..
Everything I see in your log shows me this plant but you call it widow!
Im wondering if these look like yours? Its in the front right, tallest plant, I cant control the height anymore letting it go. Its my only baby in 5 gallon pot - was my most " stunted " from the start but passed the rest!
Any idea the of the yield we will get? Mine is day 2 in bud - 22 inches tall - 5 main colas , 18 others at canopy level.
Greenest picture is with lights out just using flash. I use 1000 watt MH / 1000 watt HPS over these 6 so colors get interesting under a lense.
Anyone think these 2 plants are very very similar? I have bad eyes, very squinty
