What they need to make for this ductwork is like a telescoping piece cause thats what I need :D I dont need to go around corners just lengthen and shorten so light go up and down.
The plants themselves I believe are starting to come back, they havn't gotten any worst
I calibrated my Tri-meter and getting PH back under control. The heat wave broke here so temps have been peeking at 80 instead of just passing by and waving at it :noel:
Flowering has started so I am now thinning out all the viney crap off of the old Mother plant. Just not enough time in the day:wtf:

Tiny's Happy House of Hydro
well I wish temps went down where I'm at. It was 96* today, I did so much work to upgrade my room, just to make the temps worse because the attic temp is like 110+.
damn indoor summer growing, wish I had a basement.

Well a basement is no help when temps outside are 90+ unless you have ac in your room. My house was built about 150 years ago, has the old stone foundation and such, and normally temp doesnt go above 70 but Mother Nature heard to many people bitching about a cold winter so she turned up the heat and said " Bitch at me will ya ....... and turned the thermostat up.
96 huh?? sounds like East Coast to me.
-
Tiny's Happy House of Hydro
96 or 100 something like that. Love the east coast. I just can't get enough of the humidity. My poor little AC unit just barely keeping up running 24/7.
Wish I had a basement but here if I dig in the ground I can get 1 foot and hit water. Real close to the coast but just far enough to be able to handle the big huricanes. Got my generator ready just in case.
If my state will just vote MMJ in november we will have it much easier.
-
Tiny's Happy House of Hydro
glad that they arent getting any worse. Ducting can be a pain in the ass...
ahh its only 90f today on the beach with a good breeze....
d.c. is much hotter in the summer than south florida... I think its the humidity.
Hey LOC, I hope I can get my ladies finished before the hurricanes because im right on the beach so I would have to leave and the ladies would die :(

Glad to hear you have turned the corner and got them back on track. :)
What's the max temp before plants starting getting in trouble? 85/90??
-
Tiny's Happy House of Hydro
Lets see we have Rusty out in AZ that is growing in a shed if I remember what he said correctly and he is looking out 100+ in the desert. I try not to go above 80 anymore than I have to but the water you dont want to get above 80 if you can help it. The higher the temps go the less the water wants to accept the O2 you are pumping into it.
-
Tiny's Happy House of Hydro
Middle east coast. Hot and Humid all the time.
If my water temps get to 75 degrees my plants are screwed and cyanobacteria start. Not pretty cause it starts the root rot.

Tiny's Happy House of Hydro
well this sux .... just found out I fractured my wrist/hand 6 weeks ago when I had to lay my bike down /sigh
Can anyone say Lawsuit??
-
Tiny's Happy House of Hydro

Money doesn't make the pain go away but it keeps my mind off of it.
-
Tiny's Happy House of Hydro
Yup stupid me. When it happened it didnt really bother but next week after it hurt like hell then calmed down. Now it going back to hurting like hell again. Doc said it in very restricted area where blood vessels run and possible flow might be slowed thats why my fingers go numb. Go see Ortho doc Monday. Carrying these buckets in the tent really blows!! :(
-
Tiny's Happy House of Hydro

My GF has more joint and back issuses than I do so she not carrying them. Biggest problem is since it's been 6 weeks I'm not even sure they can do anything since a break normally heals in 6 weeks :(

They can re-break. They're going to have to do that to my hand in the near future, as the bone was literally bent and healed like that, separated from my wrist.

Hope it goes Ok with the doc. That kind of pain isn't funny. I have carpal tunnel and fingers going numb sucks. Had the operation toooooooo late and still have a good bit of pain when I grab something.
Only pain worth it now is carrying those buckets. I know they bring releaf.
Looking good on the plants and say hi to stick for me. There is always a stick in the group. Sometimes Stick is the sweetest bud of all.
-
Tiny's Happy House of Hydro
They are looking good Tiny.
I just crack up on how BIG that mother plant of yours is. Sorry to hear about your wrist, I just changed my water for the first time and I hear ya about carrying those buckets.
-
Tiny's Happy House of Hydro
The hydro shop here sells these little rolling stand things on casters for moving big water res'. Maybe you can look into those and wheel your buckets to the tent?
-
Tiny's Happy House of Hydro
Yes FCC that is the stick .... still. I should have pulled it but what the hell it is already in a bucket and trying to grow so wtf :wtf: why not
-
Tiny's Happy House of Hydro
Well the X-ray clearly shows a crack and the head of xray who does the reports for doc say yup it broke. PA says hmmm .......... we gonna treat it like a sprain :wtf3:
Also went for hearing test today ......... Yup you have a loss of hearing but not bad enough for us to help and oh yeah sorry bout the ringing in your ears all we can do is say ........ DEAL WITH IT!!!!

Going to the doctor is a pian in the arse if you ask me.
hey tiny.. I saw you post in a diff thread about keeping clones in the closet. Can you explain how you do that? 7 months is a crazy long time! That would come in handy.
-
Tiny's Happy House of Hydro
GToD are you talking about fridge stasis?? If so it was 7 weeks and running short on time this AM so will post it tonite. Back to work broken wrist and all!
-
Tiny's Happy House of Hydro
Haha... whoops.
Yes thats what I meant! Sorry... I left my mind in the other room with my bong today.

That's that good shit, lol.
Yeah I would imagine taking clones and being able to save them would do wonders for a perpetual that only had room for so much.

Tiny's Happy House of Hydro
Ok this is allot easier than you might think. Take your clones the same way that you always have just cut them longer than normal, you will be cutting them down when you go to root them. Take clones and put into large ziplock bag and put into the crisper drawer of your fridge. About every other day take bag out and open it so the air can be exchanged, then close back up and back into the fridge. When you are ready to root them take them out of fridge and put stems into a cup of room temp water so clones can warm up. After about 15 mins you can start your normal deal just cut down your longer than normal stem and continue the way you always have with normal right off the branch clones. Like I said before I got 7 weeks out of mine
-
Tiny's Happy House of Hydro
Wow... I will have to try that one day. Thats crazy that they can stay that long like that... plants are amazing.

Hello Hydro!!!
Just about to start week 3 on flower. I like this week since according to my mix of nutes that means no more Grow and double up on the KoolBloom. Lots of flowers on all plants including the stick! Moma looks wierd as hell with flowering popping up all over. Pics either tonight or tommorow.

Good to hear and it will be interesting to see that mother plant of yours all flowered up.
Question, have you ever used "bush master" nute? If so you like the results?

Yep he (Marty) made a post a few months back so I pick some up just to have. Will see, I might try it or not. Instruction says its better to try in soil because you can play around with mix amount in each pot vs hydro where its all or nothing.
Big thumbs up on your pics you just posted. VERY NICE.
-
Tiny's Happy House of Hydro
Thank you much and FCC thats what my GF says lol
-
Tiny's Happy House of Hydro
Nice pics tiny.
I was wondering the same thing about Martyr... His plants probably became big enough to eat him like Little Shop Of Horrors.
A giant, talking space queen bud!
