Purple Wreck, both are filling out pretty good. The branches are starting to get heavy.
Very very nice looking buds you have esp at the date of flower wow. I feel like I might need to add some more lumens into my grow. I red threw most of your thred what kind of light are you using?. You might want to try some sort of LST during a run sometime, its pretty amazing how you can manipulate your plant to grow like a vine or soemthing lol. Good job. Cant wait for the coming weeks. I think we started flowering within a week of each other so it should be nice to see so much beautiful buds.
Hey EnhAnceD, thanks for stopping by. I started with with a bunch of seeds and only one of them was femmed so I wasn't going to LST them without knowing what I had. I had added height to my homemade bloom box so I kinda wanted to see how tall I could safely go with placement of my light hood and venting. I did LST on my last few rounds listed in under my signature, and I liked using scrog. Already have been training the clones from these ladies and boy are they growing fast.
Using a Horilux Eye Super Enhanced HPS 400w and then added a small enclosed ballast 150w hps to even out the light. The smell is overpowering once I open the box up and start messing around with the camera. The Purple W's are very photogenic, and if they get even heavier I will be using some string to hold the branches up more and off each other. I think these two strains in my box aren't the best to run together. The Wonder Woman is a skunk variety and it can fill out this box easily, I can see just doing two and maxing them out under a scrog or just let it go natural. The Purple Wreck would really work out in a scrog for me.
I want to smell the big one...put my tongue on it, ... Can you ship weed over in a letter? :P
MB, yeah if they offered Smellovision on this site I would kick in the bucks for it. The Wonder W is less noticeable compared to the Purple W. The PW is earthy and down right Dank with some fruity tone to it.
On a side not there is a person on here trying to say he can sex a plant that has less then two sets of true leaves that somehow are four weeks old and probable under 4-5 inches at best...http://boards.cannabis.com/medical-s...ml#post2056794 Why are there soo many made up posts on here...sad
Lookin awesome FW, nice pics.
Treat the noobs like weed plants...patience patience :)

32days of flowering goodness. First Set both PW's.
Wow. That top shot is glorious.:stoned:
Wonder W pic set. 32days flower.Starting to fill out. This plant should finish first but I think it will be right around the same time as the others. I have had a few ph spikes that I have tried to balance out. A flush helped but it will be a little bit before they look right to me.
Still looking good. Im going threw the same thing. They look to be turning around tho.
Wow Frosted, That plant is looking great! Nice and frosted.:jointsmile::D

Thanks for all the compliments!
I wish I wasn't color blind. I can see that the PW's buds are darker then the Wonder W, but other then that the purple isn't something I can distinguish. A friend told me they must have invented a way to correct my naturally color blind eyes for the very reason of appreciating bud!
When I grew gorilla style outdoors I remember mapping out where every plant was in relationship to each other, which was a bad idea for many reasons. Then when walking to where there should have been a good sized Afganica looking lady I couldn't find it anywhere..but I could smell it. My friend who was helping me look yelled at me to stop right where I was until he got close, then he showed me it was the 7-8ft monster tree in front of me a few yards. It all looks the same to me as other vegetation. This plant took four people to connect hands and circle the plant. It didn't produce much tho being it didn't have as much direct sun as it needed. Its all about the gps now. I don't miss being paranoid deep in the woods either. I just wish I could see well.
Hey I just remember something I believe HS mentioned regarding leaf growth abnormally growing when stressed like the leaf pattern changes and goes non-typical, anyone see signs in my pics of that?
I had a friend take a look for some color marbling that I was worried about, and he mentioned the green and even the lighter green leaves of most of my plants are showing a reddish color marbling affect. From what I have read it is more of a Phosphorus overload sign.. any thoughts? I will upload some shots later tonight with that being a focus. I am not too worried but I tried a bud booster similar to Beastly blooms two feedings ago, and even though I used half of the recommendations I think I may have shocked them and threw the ph off (7) by using it. I did a simply flush with corrected water (distilled with Calmag) and used water with tigerbloom diluted a bit on the following feeding. I also topped the containers off with more soil hoping it will help buffer the ph as well.
If it doesn't turn around within a few days I will do a troubleshooting form but I am thinking I have it corrected. Its almost to the point where within a week or two it will be just plain water for these ladies so not too much time to correct anything that gets weird without flavor/yield suffering.
Oh and MB, I switched to D batteries! And while playing with the camera I put a regular battery in my charger....poof acid all over my counter! safety first people...
Here is some shots of the damage. I am talking about the colored edge of the leaves, it very well could be shock but not sure. Overall they seem fine and hopefully I stabilized things. Just trying to bring these down in the best condition possible.
Looks fine to me. I see what your talking about. Could just be that the plant is sucking something from the leaves its not getting in the soil. Which is fine as long as it doesnt progress too much. I really like the shape of your leaves. You have only a few burnt tips so I wouldnt think it was over nuting, and they are not yellowing really as it appears in the pics so I wouldnt really think it was a ph problem with nutlock or something. Start with your water and the run off water for ph. The flush was a good Idea. I think u should be fine. Kinda a nice looking hue haha.
Thanks EnhAanceD (EAD), I didn't really want to believe nute lock up cause that's what happened on my last indoor run and it still produced but it could have been way healthier.
When I went beginning from seed I transplanted before I was able to sex my last run and then shortly after that I was able to sex them. After killing the males I didn't want to throw out good medium so after pulling the root ball anything left in the pot I threw in a big container and mixed it with new soil and amendments figuring the soil was barely used a week since the transplant. I didn't think about the ph buffer that would have been washed out a bit and things fluctuated too much and I was to slow to react(even slow in soil terms)and I payed that price.
A friend told me the leaves no matter what they indicate looked like autumn blaze maple's in the fall. The ph can vary a little without my eyes being able to notice the affects on the plants but I figured using 4.7 gallon containers it would be slower to change compared to when I used 3 gallon ones. I need a better ph meter as well, this one is a 30 buck cheapo all in one meter so its not that accurate. I have less then two weeks of feedings left and not sure if I should dare use the bloom booster I have it is a bit high on N 10-50-0 for this stage of things so I may just keep to the Fox trio and calmag plus distilled. To think there is still about 3.5 weeks left of this run floors me! I can't wait to see how much that bigger PW cola is going to be. Its begging for me to taste!
Don't worry about loosing leaves, mine is loosing between 4-10 leaves a day, Big or small..Bottom first!
Take pics with AA battery of your biggest buds!!!
34 Days of flowering.
OMG so many crystals. you gonna make some hash with your shake?
Those colored edges just might be the strain or the temp. changing the leafs that color! the leaf itself looks healthy....id not worry about it! despite wanting to pick a bit early i found my PW really packs on the weight in the very last 3 weeks....as soon as the plant get about 40% amber....the things stop growing in there tracks...i run them between 63-67 days and they are perfect!Quote:

I didn't do anything really major to stress it but figured I could have never know. Also when you run your crosses do you try the cold water feed to boost trich production? I think I have always feed them kinda cold water thru the whole grow so not sure if Icy water would help me. Oh and if anyone has grown a three leaf mutant before...have you had trouble with cloning it? Mine rooted but where really slow.
id say its strain characteristic....Never feed cold water....i just feed my plants room temp water which is around 73-75F....i dont mess around to much with my grows.....i just try to keep it as simple as possible....i used to worry about nute mixture and exact measurements, but when running a perpetual garden...i just make sure temps, and humidity are right and my nutes are phed from 5.8-6.0 and PPM below 1200 and we are all good....i dont worry if my bloom plants get veg formula one in a while or vise versa...i just make sure they are getting some food.Quote:

Those are huge nuggets!!
Yeah, like killa said, feed them with room temp water. Helps a lot! When I think my plant will need water soon, I take a bucket with 1 gallon of tap water and I let it sit in the grow room for 24h. Makes a bit more humidity, and water is now at room temp for watering!
Just add some nutes and you're good to go! Or not if your plant needs plain water.
Crystals, OMG, crystals...You need a super macro pic of them crystals!!! Try taking some!!
I am working with two definitely different Pheno types of the PW. I take more pics of the Indica dom one. I will include a pic set of just the Sativa one later today. Its soo big I cannot take it in and out the box without risking it snapping in half, its heavy.
I use a basement spot and have always kept my water on the cold concrete and thought nothing of it. I was reading a thread about feeding Ice water to promote resin production in the final days of flower. The water I use is probably 63F I will check later but that would be my guess. I have fed water like that since they were born so they are used to it. I cannot use my municipal water its just nasty. I use distilled water plus Calmag thru this whole grow...yeah expensive. I am going to buy a RO system to cut down on the distilled and then I would also get good drinking water as well. My ice cubes stink...ick
This is the taller of the two PWs. It is about 46'' tall from soil to tip.
Just some closeups from today.
My pants just moved...
37 Days of flowering. There is explosive growth in the buds! It seems their second burst of growth is now. I might feed once more before going to just water. Not sure about making anything out of the trim. I will have to look into a few recipes.
37 Days as well.
By the looks of it man, some of that trim will probably be stronger than most buds out there on it's own! Recently I got a bunch of trim for cheap from a friend and I just used the silkscreen method to sift for kif; it's really really easy, I definitely recommend it. I'm sure you know this but you could also make all sorts of edibles, tinctures or hash/hash oil. All are definitely worth the effort to get the most out of your crop. Also, when you use it for kif, I've heard the leftovers can still be used for edibles though I've yet to try it.
So much frost. I love that shit. I cant wait to see how big your buds get. We are One day apart from each other. They are getting fat and the arms are starting to fill in nice. The buds smell sooooooo nice. I cant wait to taste em.
frosted :stoned:!!! GREAT JOB!!!!
i love getting frosty phenos! :hippy:

my current plants trichs just arrived a couple days ago
Hey thanks to everyone stopping in!
I have screened for kief before and it was definitely worth it, my last two rounds though wasn't the best tasting I have had compared to outdoor crops.
EAD, It's cool that there are a few grow logs running on here around the same week of flowering. Yours are looking purdy darn nice for sure! I was kinda worried about mine not filling out on the long branches but I am not now seeing how they are filling up nicely.
BB, damn frosty looking plant you have! That would be a keeper in my book.
Overall I was able to correct the nute/ph issues with my plants and they seem to have greened up, and all is well so far.
you have a very deserved screen name FW! keep up the amazing work!

We all are around the same period of time for our plants! Thats cool!Quote:

40 days of flowering....! To think I might wait 25-27 more days to chop is nuts! I have almost zero patience when it comes to just about anything...I will keep checking trichs and counting down the days. I haven't even trimmed anything to sample, but have already marked a bud or two as a potential sacrificial taste. I wish I had a working flux capacitor.
More at 40days showing both PWs and Wonder W.
Wow they are looking badass Frosted. Keep it up, patience will reward you better in the long run.
