the plucking you speak of is actually pruning for yield.a very good idea

pop, your plants look healthy and vibrant, your mouth must be watering...be patient, the widows haven't even begun to show their insane trichomes! First time i tried widows I got lost in a hardware store :D

yea red same setup all the way through....im gonna upgrade to some higher watt cfls for next grow....its a simple cheap set up...but its working good for me

Right on, gives me some hope since I'm doing my first grow with cfl's all the way through. I got the 200w ones though(1 veg, 1 flower) cuz I didn't feel like wiring up a dozen normals lol. I can't wait to see your final pull as well as my own.

35th day flower..ive had problems with plant 1 leaves dieing on me...ive cut back on nutes and kept her flushed but it doesnt seem to help..shes done this since i started to flower....any suggestions

possible issues:

.....bucket is too small, 1 gallon for every foot.......nute lock out
.....if leaves are at bottom, prune them off.energy will focus on upper colas and increase light penetrance
.....cut back on nutes and don't flush....removing the nutes could be bad for the plant
.....leave plant alone, just give water and some nutes every other water

don't overmother the garden.......let nature take its course.....

its normal for many strains to begin to drop fan leaves during flowering, the plant is taking all the leftover food from the leaves and sending it to be turned into resin, the leaves will yellow and drop off, it is best to allow this to happen at its own rate so the plant can use all of the available food. if you see some sort of infestation or if the leaf is blocking light from a nice bud site you can remove it before it turns dries out and falls off.
i have grown nirvana's white widow and she looked like a late autumn day during flower. expect more leaves to yellow and drop as flushing continues. on a side note, if u use all organic ferts your chances of nute lockout are highly reduced, also i only flush during the last two weeks of flower.

If you look at the pics it's more like a nute burn prob than the normal yellowing. I wouldn't worry unless it gets much worse, sounds and looks like you got it alright for now fleet so I can't add anything

thanks guys...when i first started growing everybody started throwing all diff kinds of numbers and everything at me which really confused me...then one guy told me to keep it simple and dont over fertilize and it was the best advise i ever got....keep it simple and leave all the tech stuff to the pros

buffalo im ready to harvest ...these girls they are packing on weight like me at a chinese buffet...and my place smells ridiculous ....putting that carbon scrubber together today

and i dont think u have nute burn, nute burn usually looks like the edges of the
leaves have been burned to a yellow color, yours looks like N deficiency which
is normal in flowering cuz just ur bottom fan leaves are falling off and non of
the others high up appear affected which is the text book signs of lack of N

twitch i got them from attitude seed bank ....excellent service i recommend ...easy to grow and funk

they are seedman feminized cheapest they got...but its real good
