everything seems to be coming along beautifully shov. happy to hear you def got some ladies in the group. plants and clones look excellent. they are branching out nicely, "which only means good things are coming" < grandma's boy hah.
morning
I try to keep up to date with my journal and this log. The issue I had with high temps is all gone. The season is changing and the air is cooling down. I removed the fresh air inlet and fan. I just have the one fan blowing across the plants and the temp is down to 80ยบ on the canopy.
I've been thinking back and forth about growing a little seed. I don't want to set up a separate area to keep a male until it's time to polinate so I will probably grow all females and consider buying seed from the old country again.
I'm still trying to find some information on growing and reviews of White Label Neville's Haze (which is what I think I have here)
Oh, and in the last set of photos the plants look wilted or something? They are wet, they just had been sprayed with water. I normally remove all the plants and carefully inspect them and spray them when I feed them (every third watering). This time I had to remove them to change the lamps and all. I use Thrive-Alive B-1 Green during veg and plain water now that they are going to flower.

Came back from Ma. yesterday and checked my plants. Of the four NevHaz and the four AK-47 there are two NevHaz females and only one AK-47 female. I do have a couple of AK clones that are fems but the two NH fem clones do not look like they transplanted well at all.
Today I supercropped all the branches to try and keep the heights lower. We'll see, the plants look like they will be pretty tall. I didn't dare to lst as the nodes are close together and the stem is very stiff. I'm afraid of snapping it off.
hey, I'm back on dialup as my pc shit the bed and my old pc dosne't have the card for the cable modem.

Here are the girls at 11 days 12/12. I really did go overboard with the supercropping as I twisted just about every branch to try and get the sub-branches to grow out, but they are doing fine.
AK-47 - five sections to each leave
[attachment=o204397]
Neville's Haze - mostly 9 sections to each leaf with a few 11s
[attachment=o204398]
Neville's Haze - with some pretty fat leaves 7-9 sections to each leaf.

I have two small AK clones in soil with the girls and three new NH cuttings under 18/6 CFL. I hope to have a couple survive. The last NH cutting were looking great until I put them into soil and they shocked. They did have some roots started too. :wtf:
shov, that sucks to hear only one female is left striving for the aks but she seems happy. at least ya have the clones, hopefully they yield well. those NH look pretty damn good as well. i have a skxh 3 weeks into 12/12, and its not flowering as fast.
great grow as always. i'll be back in 2 wks to check the progress, take care
morning
Hey, MGM. I gotta look at the good side, I don't have enough plants to call it much of a grow as far as state law. Also, I have a square meter of area and between the three plants I think they can fill that area. At day 10 of flowering they are 24" tall and were FIMed weeks ago and supercropped about a week ago now. Plus I have the two AK clones and will hopefully be adding a couple of NH clones. If so, that will be pretty crowded, I'll add more side lighting.
Lookin good shov! I myself am a masochistic supercropper. FIRM believer. The Church I have going into flower in a week, I have supercropped the main 3 branches twics. Now I got a good 8 strong tops. keep a look out man, its gonna be a MONSTER! Got a few suprises going on in my og that are gonna help me get this girl HUGE> sorry for the threadjack, lookin good brother!

Thank you, Bub. I do keep an eye out for your grow threads (as well as quite a few others). I can't say that I can keep them all organized in my mind though. I'll have to go check it out again...
I've been thinking of how I may cut the bottom out of the three 5 gallon buckets and transplant on top of some kind of low profile vessel (ala BOG) to increase the root area if and when the plants look like they could use it. I have to be on the lookout for such a container.
In the process of lst I snapped one of the main branches on this NevHaz plant.
[attachment=o204762]
It is 16" long and had budsites all along the length. :(
There was no saving it. It pealed away from the trunk right where the FIM split the stem into four branches. There was nothing holding the branch to the stem but the outer 'skin'. To bad it's too early to smoke the little flowerettes.
Good news is, everything is growing nicely. The haze do show clawing of the new leaves but they tend to flatten out with time.
Shov my plants would wonder what the problem was if I DIDNT break something off them on a regular basis.
I didn't realize you were you using five gallon buckets...and you're thinking of going larger??
maybe, if they show stunning growth in the next two-three weeks I'll consider adding to the bottom root system someways.
heya shov, sad to hear ya lost some smoke. im sure she'll deliver enough to make up for the loss though and with your limited space i understand what you're saying. the side branches alone take up so much area lol. so you may want to go to larger containers if the growth takes off? :)
well with the ak48s i have(2) they were about 22in give or take at the end of 36days of veg and now they are 36in+ after 3 weeks of flower. along with the skunkxhaze...it was about 25in and now after 3 weeks it shot up a full foot+ :greenthumb: not sure if thats the jump you are hoping for but be on the look out lol.
mine are in 5gal buckets as well but im using coco and they seem to be loving it. personally, i can't go bigger in the space but I'm sure they'd be happier if i could.
she looks very nice though man...keep up the good work
MGM...i like that
Edit: i just looked and the haze is almost 4 feet tall from the soil. aks are around 3ft+ but i'm going to gestimate that they'll get much higher with cola formation, atleast i hope
Lookin good. Can't wait to see the harvest =D
Gonna be a very merry christmas for somebody!
First two are Neville's Haze

They are starting to have some smell to them. :smokin:
Looking sweet man.
Haven't checked in for a while. Sorry for that.
Nice to see they have taken off now, they were a bit slow starters ;)

Oh I SO love the hazes! This pics look delicious Shov......and growing some very nice bud. I have a straight haze I'm struggling with......would you say the Neville's Haze is a big or light eater?
Weedhound, I started light and am now feeding 100% strength Technaflora nutes ( includes Boost, Bloom, CalMag, Carb/Sweetener and Awesome Blossom) plus some other suppliments (Dr. Thomas' Plant Energy, Thrive Alive B1 Green and Top Max). No loss of color on leaf tips at all, no twisting of deformities of any kind. So, I'd say that this strain can handle the nutes pretty well.
Well yours certainly look happy! Back to the drawing board with mine.....
Did I mention how much I love the Hazes??
The buds are growing rapidly and lots of tricomes are coming in on the leaves.
Looking at my past grows I've never had trics like this at such an early stage of flowering. I'm psyched!
Sweet. Might be a frosty xmas then. :)
Day 18 shov?! lol....fast bitches there man. Those NH look mighty tasty!!

shov..pics look very nice. plants are happy. depressing loss of a cola on that one NH. the rest of her is filling out nicely though. do you have a ball park figure on yield?

This is the top of one of the Nev Haze

Here's some of the AK-47 buds
[attachment=o205889]
They are about 24-26" tall. The height has not been running away at all. :rasta:
Ok, about a week since the last photos. They've been fed and watered. I've been tying the colas over a little here and there.
So, here are two AK-47 clones. There are three NH clones in 18/6 right now. I'll move them up later.

Man how I admire this grow...Nice watchin' you work "SH"!!!
:420thought:
Yesterday I tried to photograph from a tripod. These are two of the buds on the Neville's Haze (the one with multi colas). I'll try the other Haze and AK-47 later (they have better buds!)

Thanks for stopping in. :stoned:
Shov I know you've answered this before but whats the flowering time on Nevilles Haze generally?
Weed,
I don't really know who's NH I have. MNS NH says 14 weeks+.
GHS is less. I bought them from mairjuana-seeds dot nl and they say 6-9 weeks but I don't know who bred these seeds. Likely not the MNS as they have been un available for a while.
My guess would be that the 6-9 week time would be optumistic for a commercial grower and a connisseur grower would take weeks longer. Know what I mean, jelly bean? :hippy:
nice flowers Shovel!
Shov, those girls look awesome so far, flowers are putting on some weight. does that ak by any chance smell citrus/dank? lol
mgm
Thank you Mr GM.
I was looking at my past photo journals and see that this grow did indeed have a stunted beginning. But their progress has been as good as it's been in the past. So the plants seem to be 2 weeks behind optimum, which is the amount of time I was having germination/seedling problems. I have not checked trics yet as it's only been 4 weeks or so in flowering, but I hope they continue to flower for another six weeks or so. Some of the pistils are starting to dry out and color, but that's probably just from the bright light.
The AK does have a different odor, it's very pungent and strong. I have a hard time describing smells like that though. It is different from the haze, which has a nice smell also. I will try and observe what 'flavor' the smell seems to be.
Sho
That neville's haze is fire! Ive wanted to try the strain for awhile... good grow!

Beautiful buds on the Neville's,Sho...:thumbsup:Not to be a pain in the ass but,"Please sir,may we have some more"...:stoned::smokin:
I watered 'em today. They seemed to stop growing in height but the buds are bulking up and stinking up nicely.
I hope to get an average of two zips per plant of the three originals. The clones really didn't put on any weight but are maturing nicely. Maybe a couple of doobs there. I have three Neville's Haze clones in veg and hopefully I'll start some Sweet Bud seeds to start and move them all into the flowering area when these three finish. I have no idea how long it may take. AK-47 should be done in another 4-6 weeks tops. The NH look like they are on par for that too.
Oh, the photos? Tomorrow or the next day. I hope they come out ok, thanks for the positive vibes, Bub!
Shov, your NH are kickin' sand in the face of my Red Colombian Haze! They're looking mighty sweet, with tons of pistils pokin' out! Your buds are looking thicker - it really goes to show the difference in lighting and feeding. With the waning autumnal sun and less nutrients, my RCH is thinner; but, I read where you haven't seen trichs on bud so early into flowering. My RCH has more trichs at this stage than any of the other 3 strains I have grown out at this time.
I'm really glad to see you and your ladies doing so well. Take good care out there! I'll try not to be such a stranger.
Real great of you to stop by and nice things.
How many weeks are you into flowering and how many more to you think until they are really finished?
These are looking like they are finishing up but I'm used to indicas and these are mostly sativas.
