Damn Bro. Your Plants Are Looking Mighty Healthy! You Should Take Clones!!!
Thanks dude! I would if I had a seperate area for clones. I really wish I did. Maybe next time! I still have 5 more bubblelicious beans - so maybe on the next grow.
Well today officially starts *week 2* flower. Day 8. I see pistils everywhere its great. Only problem is I think I also see male flowers but I'm not 100% sure.
Here are the pics.
Pic 1 - Bubblelicious #1
Pic 2 - Bubblelicious #2
Pic 3 - Blueberry
Pic 4 - Close-up (dont mind my nute burn)
Pic 5 - Close-up showing what I'm worried about. Pistils on the top, and looks like ball clusters on the node below.
HELP!!!! :(:(:(:(
stupid pictures didnt show up let me try that again...
here's a quick group photo. Can someone check those pics in my post above (previous page) and tell me if they think I have a hermi on my hands? If so what should I do with it?
Thanks guys !
Yes, the plant has male parts. I would get rid of it immediately. Even if you use that hermi to breed with mostly all of the offspring will hermie. Believe me I had a hermied afghani #1 and pollinated a white russian female, I planted 6 seeds and they all hermied except 1. But besides all that, very nice grow.:rastasmoke:Quote:

Looking great bomb, can't wait to see them buds grow!
yes bomb...them be balls matey!!!....lookin good otherwise:thumbsup:

Here we are... down to 2 females. Hopefully I can keep it that way. I figure if my last bubblelicious hermies I'll just pick off all the male flowers as I see them. And the blueberry is feminised, and I've heard that these are kinda prone to going hermie as well, is this correct?
well, either way - here's some pics. Notice how many budsites are on this lady
thanks, me neither!Quote:

blueberry is very sluggish considering its only 9 days younger than the bubblelicious.
Damn, Bomb. Hate it about the Hermie. I am dealing with the same thing, contemplating picking the balls out. Just in denial. But your remaining girls look great. Keep up the good work.
thanks cede! yeah, hermie is a bummer. I was pretty sad until my girls started budding out and shit.
my blueberry is going through a growth spurt right now, and its weird because its actually flowering on the very top, but nowhere else... not on any of the other nodes. In fact, pistils started popping out before I even saw alternating nodes.
I'll have pics probably tomorrow.
peace, and good growin!
Today is the first day of week 2! Maybe the stretching will stop soon then! hah.. this thing is growin like crazy. the budsites are exploding man its crazy. check it out!
Going nicely. Stretching? I think they haven't started stretching. lol Wait until next week!
continued
haha dont say that!! i only have like 8-10 more inches of headroom, maybe a little more. I'll just have to keep tying them down over and over again. Maybe next time I should try lowrider :)
Hey m8...nice work so far, healthy looking plants.....can't wait to see the finish and some nice frosty buds....
That Bubble is a very beautiful plant. The Blueberry looks very healthy as well.
Doesn't look like you could have kept more than 2 in there. You may have to put a pseudo screen in there.
Excellent grow :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
word thanks cede.. i was thinking about the screen idea but at this point I'm just gonna try to let them finish. I've been tying them down so much every other day and I'm getting tired of it - as I'm sure they are too. I'm going to screw my light fixture to the top of my box and just let them grow. Should be plenty of space. Doing that should give them about 12-16" more to grow vertically before they come dangerously too close to the light.
Hey Bomb, when you started seeing sex in the first first first part, you had a football shaped object correct?
but this football shaped object was somewhat split and not enclosed right?
because I have a single plant with what looks like your earlier sex pics and im not sure what Im getting, I have a log going so if you could share your opinion, although I dont really have updated pics of the sex part today.
Anyways, great stuff you should be so happy :D I would :)

yeah it was like a cluster of tiny footballs. hope this helps
thanks for stopping by
Day 17 Flowering
Nutes: Been using AgeOld Bloom at 2tsp / Gal every other watering. Waterings take place every 2-3 days. During veg I used GrowBig at 1tbsp / Gal, and used plain water every 3rd feeding.
Light: Still using ONLY my 2' T5 setup with 2 3000k bulbs putting out 10,000 lumens, while using 110W of power.
Vent: I will be installing my 4" vortex tomorrow (when it arrives), but up to this point I have been using a 120mm computer fan for exhaust, duct taped to 4" ducting.
And now - for some pics.
Still beautiful looking plants m8...
Are you planning to transplant the BB into a bigger pot??
If you have money and some time, i think the plants would benefit from a few more cfls, they would become more resinous and it would improve the final yield too....
I'm going to just use this light setup for this grow - to see how it can do. 10k lumens is theoretically enough for my 2'x1'x3' cabinet. (WxDxH)
The buds are growing fast and big too
Oh and the BB.. yeah I probably should transplant into one of my square pots but I'm so afraid to shock it during flowering. I was thinking about finishing it in that container as it was pretty small when flipped to 12/12.
Vortex fans are fucking LOUD!!!!
I finally got mine yesterday and spent about 4 hours redoing my exhaust and intake ducts, and permanently installing my carbon filter. I have it at the end of my exhaust line and its working great! Yesterday my temp maxed at like 78, and my house temp was 75. Finally no more prepping for dark cycles every day.
Also I transplanted the blueberry - it was starting to look horribly rootbound. After about 10 hours of light it was looking better already - I cant wait to see how its doing after last nights dark cycle.
I'll have pictures soon, the batteries in my camera died.. gotta go pick up some AA's.
Day 20 Pics. Fed 3tsp / gal AgeOld bloom today. blueberry is looking better. Bubblelicious is lookin amazing.
theyre looking great  gonna get some solid nugs off them girls.
stay irie
thanks i hope so!
Day 24 of Flowering. If you're just joining us, the larger plant is "Bubblelicious" from Nirvana, and the smaller plant is "Blueberry" from (i think) dutch passion.
Feeding has remained the same. Any nute burn you see is from veg.
Trichs have started appearing everywhere. When you touch the buds and smell your fingers, it smells sweet and fruity, but not really anything like bubblegum as claimed by the breeder.
big storm coming through my town.. i hope to god i dont lose power. thunder is shaking my apartment.
Plants are starting to fill in nicly, well done ...Im at about the same point with my flowering, now is when we both get to see them really plump up :)
Thanks for droppin in man. Yeah I cant wait to look at these things every morning... I find myself checking my watch over and over again waiting for 10:53am when the light cycle starts so I can see them lol.
hehe , your lucky you have your lights on durring the day you can check on them whenever you want :)
My lights run at night so I have to wait ALL day, well untill 8pm anyways ;)
Pic 1 - Overall view (I cant believe how short I've kept the bubblelicious)
Pic 2 - Secondary growth on the blueberry. Notice the main stem.
Pic 3 - Main cola on the blueberry
Pic 4 - Side shot of bubblelicious
Pic 5 - Bud shot on the Bubblelicious.
Can anyone tell me if it is too late to remove some fan leaves that are blocking light? I want to do it without stressing the plant... dont want any seeds! There are a bunch of budsites that could potentially add more yield but are being blocked by the fan leaves of the surrounding colas, as you can see in the pictures above.
bump*
no clue bro. im always scared of prunning. i would say if possible maybe tie some leaves together with a little nylon rope. your plants look great. i hope my new plants will look that good under my t-5's i got ny city diesels
