suprised there's not to many incubus fans on this thread
I'll start with Pass the Marijuana by the Mystic Roots, pretty much anything from Marley, and some Sublime greatest hits. -A little general but oh well haha:jointsmile:
Ganja Babe (Acoustic) by Michael Franti. If you never heard the acoustic version look it up on youtube or somewhere. Mind blasting.
Jefferson's Airplane - White Rabbit
It's really a acid rock/psychedelic song, but with a good sativa or mind trippy weed, this song will have you feeling like your on Cloud 9 (literally) and the feeling of a halo sitting on top of your head!]
Chase the white rabbbbbbit.....
SOrry I'm :stoned:

Wyclef - Diallo
Incubus - The Warmth
Audioslave - Shadow on the Sun
Way too many to pick just one "favorite".
Shine on you crazy diamond- pink floyd
im all out of love am so lost without you
Oh yeah, Air Supply too. When you get old, Air Supply is the tank on your wheelchair.
Birds Chirping is pretty cool.
you know, its not to sound racist, but a band that has been considered the music that white kids listen to, merely because they seem to be the only demographic for is.
Vampire Weekend. the song Bryn in particular, the whole cd is good, dont judge based off the first song, try the singles first. but if you have a nice enough speakers, nothing special just better than laptop speakers, or dont mind listening to them a little louder, this song is the shit.
Into the distance, a ribbon of black, stretched to the point of no turning back...
Pink Floyd for ever
The Statement by Wiz Khalifa:thumbsup:
I've got to say that I find nothing more relaxing and mind-opening than smoking a little fine herb and listening to Pink Floyd. Anything Pink Floyd.:stoned:
A few artists I'll smoke to as of recent:
Johnny Winter
Roy Buchanan
John Campbell
Peter Green/early Fleetwood Mac
Hot Tuna
Derek & the Dominos
LOL at all the Floyd. Look beyond the stereotypical stoner tunes please. :stoned:
They may be stereotypical stoner tunes, but there isn't much better out there. I must admit there is quite a bit of talent on the indie scene as well as bluegrass. Pink Floyd definitely isn't the extent of my musical taste, but the mainstream stuff that is out there is, for the most part, generic cookie cutter bs or there for pure shock value, ie Lady Gaga. That's no lady.:S5:
I agree with you that there's nothing to offer anyone in the mainstream market, but there are plenty of bands both past and present that put Floyd to shame (imo of course). You just have to find them. That's why PF is so popular; they're easily accessible to the general public (mainstream, if you will), while the smaller lesser known acts slip through the cracks.
Touche! Yes, there is some amazing talent out there. $ different people I went to HS with are currently making a living with their music. Some is cool, some not so much. It all comes down to individual taste(IMHO). I'm having lots of fun just cruising the net and looking up new artists of all genres of music. I know alot of musicians don't like the internet because of piracy, tm violations, etc., but I'm glad I have it available online. It's quick, easy, and most imortantly, it forces musicians and bands to put out more quality music instead of 1 or 2 songs out of 15 and it costs you $20. Instead, now you pay per song and don't have to purchase the fluff crap on an album.
I love Derrick & the Dominoes. I really like anything with Clapton. One of the main reasons I'm so hung on PF is the fact that I can listen to a CD from start to end and love every minute of it. Not just one album, but pretty much all of them. The only time I have to mess with the music is to change cds or repeat a song I'm particularly fond of. Peace and enjoy whatever you listen to. Open your minds to ALL forms of art and see the beauty the world has to offer. Peace!:smokin:
Only picking one song out of my playlist was difficult but
