Blackdog says "can you tell me who is realizing that this war effort is diverting resources away from the country"? Just about everyone that has at least their good eye open. How far would that half a trillion dollars allocated for the war so far have gone in rebuilding our infrastructure. Half that would have made social security and medicare secure well into the next century, rebuilt all our schools, paid to really secure our ports, borders, and nuclear and chemical sites, financed single payer medical into the next century and had enough left over to buy you and I a new car, maybe a Yugo! These are your friends the "conservative Neocons", spend like a drunken sailor on war so their contractor friends can get richer!
