Part of it I think is Gender Identity. Body hair is more associated with being male and masculine as men have more pronounced body hair due to our higher androgen hormone levels (which encourage body hair growth). Women conversely have less body hair and less body hair seems to be more associated with being female and feminine.

Furthermore, the same hormones in men that cause body hair to grow causes our scalp hair to fall out (cruel joke of nature if you ask me). Whereas female hormones protect and promote hair growth on the scalp. Short hair is then thus associated with 'males' and long hair with 'females'.

Basically, sex is central to human evolution and survival so naturally such distinctions tend to be exaggerated. Same with breast size. Women with large breasts and hips = fertility from a naturalistic point of view so, from a evolutionary stand point, augmenting these features help females attract males. I'm sure you see where I'm going with this :thumbsup:

I personally prefer unshaved but trimmed muff as I've gotten older as I've associated hairy muffs with more mature women and the shaved look with young immature girls... Not to say that stereotype is fair or accurate but the only girl who burned me was one of those shave everything nazis and now I just have negativity associated with it.

Am I the only one who loves a full bush? I find it soft, luxurious, and natural. I like to stroke it and bury my face in it. Shaved is like some alien shit. And the stubble ... forget about it. It's like sandpaper. My girl was shaved when I first met her and I told her to grow that shit out.

all right here's what i don't get about girls who shave-

do you do it every single day? by the end of the day isn't it like a 5 oclock shadow situation except worse, all prickly and rubbed against from your clothes? and if not by the end of the day, what about the next morning? and if you're dragging a razor over it every single day, i mean, we're talking about some delicate skin- you gotta keep away from bumps and redness and ingrown hairs and ughhh all nasttyy shit i don't want to subject my soft perfect netherlands to.

in my younger years i would shave but as soon as i got with my first serious boyfriend (and having sex round the clock;)) my poor skin couldn't keep up and i'd just keep it really trim and nice right in front and (let's get real personal) straight razor shave every other inch. i think a little hair serves some purpose, when i'm totally bare my skin is too sensitive in a bad way- in a more natural state i can handle a little more friction! i've taken it all off again since then, and sometimes i do like the bare skin- i get it- but sometimes it makes me feel kinda creepy to have none, like weirdly young and not myself. let me just suck on a lollipop and call you daddy while you fuck me, hahaa. like i said...i get it.

that got long.. i guess all i'm trying to say is shaving your pussy every day is brutal, and having a stubby shorn situation is never ok. i think the only real options are wax or trim, somebody explain this to me

This is a fairly new fashion, a few years ago nobody shaved, just trimmed up round the sides.

I understand the cleanliness bit but surely if someone is bathed, the hair is clean?

I'm a firm believer of 'male grooming'; I shave my balls as often as my face and keep my mane trimmed respectably.

C'mon guys, think how much we like THEM shaved, groomed or otherwise maintained. Turn it around and they appreciate it 10 fold, as there's not a lot of guys out there that take the innitiative to maintain their goods.

Shaved is preferable to me..but if she pulls her pants down and I go to put it in and she has some hair I'm not going to walk away or anything..I'm going to certainly continue. So it really kinda doesn't matter I guess.

my wife used to shave but got it all lasered off. i personally prefer a shaved kitty for several reasons, none having to do with making them look prepuberty. cleanup after sex, hygiene and the fact that after long sex marathons we aren't raw from grinding are pube bones together. i love the way she feels all smooth & soft. i trim & sometimes shave, use an electric shaver & never get bumps. tripp
