"the psychology of handwriting"
I am currently reading True Hallucinations by Terrence McKenna.
It is the story of a group of anthropologists/ethnobotanists/travelers/scholars that go on a trip to the Amazon jungle to study ancient Shamanic traditions and hallucinogenic plants.
It is quite an interesting read! :)
Currently re-reading Think and Grow Rich - Nap Hill - Damn good. Gotta keep it fresh in the head or I feel myself slipping. Controlling your thoughts is so deep. Sometimes like earlier even with me, I was stressed, frustrated and ready to snap. Started re-reading it. Regained control, had to say sorry to a few people lol.
The Power of Focus - Jack Can and few co writers I finished last week. Its ok.
The art of Mixing - Technical Audio Engineering.
And Confessions of a Record Producer.
I try to read two self empowering books and 2 technical books in my field a month. Confessions is by moses avalon and if you're into or thinking of getting into the music and entertainment industry, this guys awesome. So awesome I bought two one for me and one to loan out to my assistant engineers.
Glad you guys read. I used to never at all. I thought about it and couldn't understand why I didn't, my mind wandered and soon I stopped a few pages in. Lost interest fast but deep thought allowed me to come to the conclusion that I was allowing my brain to become a fat ass couch potato. So I kicked it and threw it on Prunedale Craig. This was some years ago.
In my opinion. If you are not getting better (brain wise) then you're getting weaker. Stagnation does not apply to us. Your getting or losing. And I wanna be a good ol american smart ass some day so I'm gonna have to keep reading and act like I believe it all .
Haunted, by chuck Palahniuk
I'm not overly fond of it hence why its takin me so long to read, I liked fight club way more! and I have Choke, and Invisible monster written by him that i still have to read :)
Darwin's Black Box by Michael J. Behe... a very interesting read for anybody who has pondered the origins of life.
Just finished The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain... it was amusing.
Finishing up Inferno by Dante... I'm a lover of the classics.
My next readings will probably be some literature from the Romantic Era, most likely Frankenstein.
Reading > T.V.

By the way, I was pretty surprised at how many good books some of you are reading. You guys have good taste and its an excellent way to fight off the stoner sterotype.
Thanks for sharing that, it looks really interesting- I will look for it!Quote:
