Physical: I hate pretty boys (the American Eagle guys who work out 6 days a week), I like guys who are chubby (not fat, like maybe 10 pounds overweight), Hair color isn't an issue, neither is eye color, he has to smell good, have good teeth, not be overly hairy, and has to be at least an inch taller than me (i'm 5'8").

Mental: He has to like politics, he has to know that his education is a top priority, he can't think that the world or the government owes him handouts, must want kids if we get married, he has to smoke with me, he has to be funny, he has to keep up with me, he must be as sex addicted as I am, he has to talk alot, he has to be very upfront and not play those fucking mind games, and he has to like the same music as me (tool, godsmack, a perfect circle, zeppelin, floyd, the doors...shit like that).

Thanks, Breuk! Yes, FamilyTree DNA was the one I requested the swab kit from. It should arrive any day now. My husband and his friends think people ought to wait another, oh, 10 or 15 years before doing this because the DNA databases they test people against aren't yet fully complete. They think that in another decade or so, the comparison information and detailed DNA databases will be so much more thorough that these early tests will have been a waste compared to what we can find out later. Eventually, I've read, they'll be able to determine people's DNA heritage to such a level of detail that they'll almost be able to tell us precisely what area of, say, northern Europe we hailed from, or what area in Africa. This fascinates me. I've been on fire to look more deeply into all this since watching the series "African-American Lives" on PBS last summer. I have a $20 bet with my father that I'll have at least 3% African-American heritage, and he's betting it's going to be 100% Indo-European.

The type of girl I would like to find, would be a relatively chill one, who smokes pot, or at least doesn't care that I do, who doesn't mind when I get all grungy and dirty wrenching on my junk, and who understands that intimacy is important in a relationship. Looks, well, looks don't really matter, but the rockabilly, punk type girls or many of the girls on suicidegirls.com, tattoos turn me on, etc. However the girls I almost always end up with are the preppy goddamn blondes with too much silicone and too little brains, and are generally crazy as fuck. Oh well, beauty is only a six-pac away!
