Ants, as we know it, do not possess a level of consciousness as developed as we do. This is why, we, as human beings have the power of change.

Look what happened to the Earth since WE appeared, there are more than just families trying to make it in in this world, there are corporations, industries, politics, wars, etc.

A 600 year old plan is what we can use.

This sounds like a thread for the politics forum, but anyho....

So to be clear, you think everyone's brainwashed eh? And you want us to stop watching tv then. Is that all? I know plenty of folks that might watch an hour of tv a month maybe. Are they brainwashed? I'm confused. You seem pretty peeved at the gov't or media or whatever, but if doesn't sound like you have a very stable argument.
Why and how will not watching tv 'fix' the problem. Explain. :)

No, ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance is slavery my friend. Slavery to the system that wants to use you as a pawn to further its goals. It is just like the matrix. Those in power only want more money and power. We have to have some sort of social revolution. How we will have that revolution i have no fucking clue. Either the people will rise up and overcome the gov't or governments will bomb the shit out of each other and the survivors will have to build from the ground up. But either way, in my mind, the future is bright and full of promise.

If I live happy and die happy in this 'slavery' was I not happy?

I just have to add, that not everyone is unhappy in this world. Not everyone thinks we are being controlled by anyone. I don't own a fancy car, a car period! But I have a nice view from my small apartment, and I don't make much money, but I have enough to eat, have a roof over my head, and still buy weed with. I'm by far unhappy.

If you are unhappy with things, maybe you should look at your life and figure out why. Not everyone is unhappy, and the people who are, there is usually a reason behind it, and only they can fix it.

I like having a TV, and a pool table in my living room. I have my guitar, and my music and my cat. I have friends and a paycheque that comes every 2 weeks. I have no car or a huge bank account, but I am happy.

You obviously have a computer, with a home, that is warm, powered by electricity. Stop being so selfish and maybe think of the those 3 BILLION PEOPLE who live off $2 US dollars, who don't have that luxery. You have cash to buy cannabis, think of those who don't. You have heat, think of those who don't, food, etc...there's a pattern, follow it and be grateful for what you have. :)

And I happen to like watching the commercials on the super bowl. The reason is because ususally the funny ads are spread out throughout a program, but the bowl lets you watch them all at once.

If you watched the Terry Tate commercials when they aired and didn't laugh, then you're funny bone is bruised. :)
