I like it when a culture stays intact. That is the difference I have noticed in Canada and the US. We attempt to assimilate and make everone out to be westerners where as Canada or at least BC respects and allows for different cultures a bit more.
This phenomenon is against nature - and the result is racism, warfare, and exclusionary practices.Quote:

Many of the world's problems probably never would have happened if the ancient people had not run out of psychedelic plants, due to various historically accurate climatic conditions, and other reasons. Thse plants broke down primitive, animal instincts and replaced them with advanced tribal customs and intellectual power - otherwise we never would have evolved. Terrence McKenna ("The Archaic Revival", "Food of the Gods", "True Hallucnations", etc.) has some very interesting theories about this.
