Anyhow, i dont see these being rolled out very fast, if at all. TSA is still testing a "puffer" machine to detect chemical/explosives residue. The Xray machine is a major privacy concern. However... one more incident remotely close to OK city or 9/11 and i bet it'll be steam rolled right into every day use.
OH.. and FYI i just noticed that the date on that article:Posted 5/15/2005 10:03 PM Updated 5/16/2005 10:10 AM
Later this year 2005 eh... come and gone.
Yea, MastaChronic kinda went off into his own little gay world there. ;) hehe
Those puffer machines feel weird. I hope they leave people alone about bringing a little medicine with 'em.
But anyway, I didn't notice that date. Hmm...cool, I guess.

my gf's step dad partly owns a company that makes things similar to those, the company is called brijot pretty cool shit, they havent been released but theyve been selling them already and apparently they found some glitch that if you have somehting on u for 30-45 minutes it gets to the same temp as ur body temp and cant detect it anymore so they r figuring that out

Actually, i've talked to some friends in TSA, and one of these scanning/xray machines is currently planned/being rolled out in Phoenix. So while your data is very old, the govt's plan to screw us when we fly is afoot.
