because yesterday she bought me the stuff, but no christmas present. I'm as happy as my balls can be though, my mom's my best friend :D:D:D:D

id just get a job. save up for 8-10 weeks if you can and you should be good

Good idea. I'm proud of you for going that route!
When my brother and I got older and wanted expensive things, we would work and pay halfsies and it worked out really well.
Lots of times we were even told thank you for making the effort but we got for ya.

I still think it odd to take you to the show, have you pick something out then say no. Very odd. I'da been crying buckets too if I was totally expecting it.

BUT...now that you know what is up, ya gotta pull yourself up by the bootstrings and go for what you want. Trust me, in the end, you'll feel real good about yourself knowing that half that board is truely from your hard work. Go git em kiddo!

i dont think he's upset he didnt get it.
i think he's upset cuz his mom would buid his hopes up and ruin it w/o warning.

you should do something really nice for your mom now since she got it for you. clean the whole house, do the dishes for a month, something along those lines would make her really happy and would be a nice thank you. it might encourage her to do something like this again
