Edit: I have been smoking buda for like 4 years (sporadically is a good word for my usage pattern), and have experienced "white powder stimulants", "mushrooms with magic powers" (a few times), "pills with logos on them", and alcohol. I want to try this, but I dont want to fuck with my brain. I'm guessing the experiences are strong enough to have to thinking about them for hours/days after. I dunno...still debating. Like i said before, I dont see how something could fuck with you more than the mushrooms with the powers. lol.....help me decide...i know i should decide for myself but i cant lol.

There is no drug that i've done that can even compare to the hallucinations you will expereince on salvia.
According to research on salvia, they dont even know what part of the brain it affects. Whereas most hallucinogens affect a specific part of your brain.
Salvia is still legal mostly due to the fact that you can't do anything while you're on it besides freak out. Maybe if some fucktard smoked a bowl of 40X while on a rooftop and ended up killing themself then they would make it illegal, so be safe when you try it, it IS a drug and the MOST POWERFUL DRUG KNOW TO MAN, no im not kidding, salvinorin-a is more psychoactive per microgram than LSD, and any other known chemical besides the ones already present in your brain naturally.
Have a clear head and dont have a purpose in mind when you do salvia, because it will throw you off in a random direction and so it's pointless to try and set parameters or control your trip. Just remain calm and if you get scared just realize that no matter how long it seems like you are tripping, you will come down in about 15 min TOPS.
It may seem like a few million years but thats all part of the trip, it sends your concious mind to a place where time and even space are non existant. I saw the birth and death of the universe and the meaning of reality (not what you think it is at all) and the very core of ..... all i can call it is "this" and it was all before my very eyes (not that i saw it but i understood it) while i sat on my living room sofa unable to move for less than 10 min.
Salvia is LSD's little brother, bottom line.
Why trip for 3-4 minutes when you can trip for 6-7 hours?
Personally, I find the trip itself FAR too short to experience anything worth taking out of it. It's fun, yes, but to think you actually come out of it enlightened is something I have yet to experience, and don't think I ever will. Don't get me wrong, it's amazing to smoke it and then 20 seconds later be in another dimension, but before my mind can adjust to it and start exploring, the trip's over. Come on, lol, it's TOO short. ~
Salvia is similar to magic mushrooms in the way they change your psychology and can make you VERY introspective (this is why it isn't a party drug) but the hallucinations aren't the same at all, salvia throws you out into the viod of space and reveals things that were never there and have never been seen or experienced by normal people, it can help you understand your own mind, and how the mind works and how delicate everyone's perception of reality is.Quote:

Any questions on salvia? Id be happy to try and answer them, I've done everything up to 45X because after that it gets really expensive. So i have a ton of experiences on salvia so dont hesitate to ask anything. You should feel as comfortable as possible before you try it and it will be much better for you.
So is the experience based on the strength of the Salvia you get. Like, is it different with different strengths or does it just vary in intensity. What would you suggest for a first timer.....just go for the strongest and take smaller hits? What do you think?
Every time I've done salvia i've ripped it out of a huge bong when i'm alright high as shit and let me just say it fucks your world up... every time i've done it i've thought i was being sucked into or toward something... first time i thought i was being sucked into a bed and couldn't pull myself away from it no matter how hard i tried.. another time as soon as i took my hit my friend who was already tripping after his hit was like why'd you guys let him do it at the same time as me?! (he was hinting at the fact that it's harder to control two people tripping nuts than it is one.) but as soon as he said that my hit kicked in and i thought that the reason he said it was because if you smoke salvia at the same time as someone else your souls get sucked together and you form a new being and so i felt myself being pulled towards him but since i was laying down i just layed there... it sounds pretty bad but at the time that all this is going on you're just sitting there laughing uncontrollably and have no clue what the hell is going on.. i didn't pay any attention to the other people in the room.. and as Its a Plant said... Give me LSD any day.. Took 2 hits one time and it was the best 10 hours of my life

You'll reach the peak within 5 minutes or less. From then on out, it's intensity significantly decreases, and you sorta 'come down' for like 20 minutes or so.
So really that site's kind of misleading, because it lasts all of 4-5 minutes, but *technically* you can still feel a slight buzz afterwords.
