I wasn't actually referring to his original post, but general attitude in the forums here.
Oh and yes Yeag, I'm super holier than thou. In fact I'm the holiest person to ever live on this earth. I know everything, My wisdom is perfect. I can't possibly do any wrong and everybody in the world is going to hell but me. Plus my after shave smells better.
I'm glad you understand me so well.

Saying this is wrong? not really. I don't believe this is right, but enjoy a good debate over logic and philosophy. I don't actually expect to convert anyone to my beliefs, merely to engage in constructive debate. I find I gain as much insight into people's beliefs as I express my own.
Heaven or hell, I don't believe in in the traditional sense. Whether or not consciousness continues beyond death I don't know, but I think the most plausible idea would be that "heaven" or "hell" would be of our own making, that the afterlife would exist as our consciousness in and of itself.
I also believe, under the assumption that there is a god and Jesus did everything the bible claims he did, that Jesus would not be the only way to god. Besides, does anybody like the idea of a god that sends those to hell who are good, because they praised his name but not through a particular profit? Rather, I think Jesus said he was the only way to god because he was the only teacher of an enlightened path. Other available philosophies in the region, like paganism, would technically not be a path to god. Surely god, being all knowing and all loving, is less concerned with you praising him for the only visible purpose being an ego stroking, and more concerned that you take whatever path is necessary to become the type of good person he would want you to be, thereby creating the type of soul that is suitable to join him in heaven.
Yeag, I honestly don't think that poorly of you, the last thing I wrote was last night. To explain, yesterday I was in a shit load of pain so I pumped myself with tonnes of trammadol after a 5-day abstinence. I got an immensely euphoric high all day (along with a really damn itchy nose, and that stuff does), then proceeded to hit an equally immense low with the innevitable dopamine drop that comes after hours of drug-induced pleasure. I still think you might want to work on being a more friendly member of the community, but you're certainly whelcome with me and the rest of us here. Not to mention i've been stuck in the shitty-mindset before myself and ended up outright mouthing people off over the web because of my own problems. I'm sure we've all been there, I really hope you don't get stuck there for too long, 'cause it's a shitty way to be alive that nobody needs.

I think studying organized religion is useful in seeing how we evolve, intellectually, as humans. I mean if you think about it, it makes total sense how religion exists. To explain what humans do not know:
Aztec, Mayan, and Incans had hundreds of gods and goddesses to explain the daily "phenomina" that happened in their lives
Early Greeks and Romans used gods and goddesses to have an extrenal, agreed-upon system of faith that explained and rationalized occurrences and decisions
Earlier Europeans, particularly the Catholic church used god as a means to control the government, people, and to collect huge sums of money from the King's subjects simultaneously instilling a fear in god
Henry VIII manipulated Anglicanism as means of allowing him to divorce his many wives
And to date, many religious groups use the form of god and 'morality' interchangably to acheive what they want (issues with prayer in schools, Creationism in schools, death penalty, gay marriage, abortions, ect)
Religion is simply a means of having a bunch of different beliefs of what causes the unknown. Greek and Roman culture had gods to explain war, sleep, rain, storms, love, intelligence, and then later upgraded to mostly Catholic and protestant religions, which do not offer multi-gods (it's blasphemy now) because they have discovered means of knowing how the forementioned processes work! You don't see many Greeks and Italians worshipping Zeus and Athena now, do you? Of course they have statues, but to serve only as a reminder of what they founded many principles on.
For me, MOST (NOT ALL) religious groups harness their gods as a mean to try to get what they want in life, but back it up claiming it's offending their morals and beliefs, because we're such an immensly politically correct society, and religion and government are beginning to mix again. Many religions are severly impeding progress in sciences because they claim its immoral and evolution is crap, ect.
If these people are such science haters, then why do I have to take care of them in hospitals, give them medicines and antibiotics (both of which harness the theory of EVOLUTION) but then they go and complain and tell others what to do and what to say, and hate under such a "loving and forgiving" god?
Man created God, God did not create Man.

I don't know why a christian would have a problem with science. Is there any scientific proof that God does not exist? Cause there's plenty of science that proves that he does.

Religion has sparred with science throughout history.
Religious zelots with closed minds fear science,
it uncovers the truth without just saying "It's Magic!".
But rationally, theres no reason Science and Religion can't exist peacefully together, if not harmoniously. Why would a christian god create a world without constant scientific law? The big bang = gods doing. See what I mean??
There has never been a single proof that god truly exists.
Even if the bible was written by god, it was THROUGH man, and man is imperfect. Which means..
well..
                          It's MAGIC!

Just look around. Look at male and female. My wife is now breast feeding our first daughter. Milk is for babes. The proof is all around you if you believe in his word. The scientific proof is in everything that exists. I think the big bang theory happened in seven days.
